Niranjan gets slapped by Tamarai
ANANDAM (31st March)
Govindan's wife and son are going hungry without any means. She asks the provision owner to give her some provisions on credit as her son is famished. He spoke kind words and agreed to send through his servant, he himself turns up with goods but he wanted her to yield to him. She hits him and throws him along with the stuff he brought. RK and his wife visit Anita. Arjun's house and find him mopping the floor. Rajeshwari asks why he was doing this work He says he likes to help Anita in every way. They both are pleased to see his understaning nature.They stay eat a meal cooked by him Rk says he learnt something valuable from him. Madan requests RK to stay away from the meeting as Sreenivasan is bound to create a lot of trouble RK says it is all the more necessary he should attend as he has dealt with Sreenivasan and he can handle it. Shanthi arrives and Narayan tells her to be careful as there is bound to be trouble . Sreenivasan tells Abhirami to watch out what he is going to achieve at the meeting.

As the van was proceeding Bhasker becomes hysterical blaming himself for the tragedy Gounder gets down consoles him that fate is to be blamed and sends them home he goes back to the cremation ground to pay his respects to a wonderful compassionate man He was spotted and made to leave forthwith He comes home Mallika's father comes into the kitchen and talks to the daughters in law to be united during the crises and make the home as it used to be. He asks them be extra careful with Vidya and her mother never leave them alone. Everything depends on the three of them.

Mahesh is attending to a patient and Bhasker enters in a terrible mood drags the doctor and abuses him of taking Abhi away from him Mahesh being a doctor allows him to rant and rave for a few minutes and clearly tells that Abhi is legally divorced from him and there is no binding and moreover Bhasker had given enough harm to her Bhasker says she still has feelings for him and his family the doctor intervenes and says that it was because she is a very humane person Doctor calls the ward boys to take him away. Guests start arriving Abhi had not come. When questioned by Sharada the mother says she had not spoken to Abhi. Anandi conveyed that Abhi has agreed.At Tholkappiyan's place Abhi is in tears She has a feeling she is acting against her gut feeling Arti and Thols assure her that she has done the right thing and she should face the world not be like this Mahesh is a wonderful person and he will give her the right support for all he things she wants to achieve.

He has to has to go as he gets a phone call Prabha comes and relates Selvi's unsuccessful trip to Tamarai and how she was made to wait the whole day with not even a glass water. Both the brothers go to Tamarai's house . Tamarai in a restless mood. Amar tells her that she can get her divorce soon Niranjan goes straight to Tamarai and tells her Selvi was forced into this marriage by all the people, pointing out to the imp Aishwarya also. That was not a marriage for my sister but a funeral. She toiled night and day to save you. Had she not come into the family this property you are proud of would all have gone and making your children destitute. Tamarai shouts at him and Vishwa enters the fray. Tamarai slaps Nirajan and they both leave. Sathya comesout and tells them they will never get a hearing or justice from the inmates of this house He expresses his his sympathy and support . Sivamani asks about the outcome of the visit but Niranjan does not tell her the truth. Selvi enters with Sathya and asks Niranjan why they went. She is sad Tamarai slapped him. Selvi thanks him for his support and tells him she will fight her battles. Coming home she hears discussion for a name for her baby. GJ in a dejected mood Selvi's mother giving a lecture of how times do change how they lived like lords in Sri Lanka and now they are here She tells him once the cell company succeeds they will be on top of the world Selvi asks her mother if she ever thought of anything but money mother tells her GJ is depressed so she wanted to cheer him up. A letter is delivered and GJ looks shocked.
