ANANDAM
AC encounter Dorai continues his questions to Sreenivasan. He asks if AC Mahesh is his friend. Sreenivasan says he knew him but had no connection with him. Did he get a commission from the promoter. Sreenivasan said he got what any body would get for a deal. He said he would come again. He also found out his relationship with his son is not good. AC asks him what he thinks about him (the new AC)Rk and family come to see the newborn baby. Each one says nice comments about the baby. Rajeshwari presents a chain and golusu. Ramya is in tears and expresses her anxiety about her sister. Shanthi assures her all will be well with her and she will be back soon. Shyam sitting in the drawing room is looking at the group photo of all the three of them he is sad. AC Dorai arrives with a few policemen one was assigned to question the watchman the second the maid and Dorai looks round the house. Comments what a grand house it is. He goes up to see the rooms and goes in to see Abhirami's room. He asks Shyam why they divorced. Shyam said his sister didn't have children madan ha s a son through his second wife. He finds a diary and takes it with Shyam's permission. Dorai comes home and sees his parents chatting with a marriage broker with a girl's photograph in their hands he scolds his parents to heed his words that he is not interested in marriage. Kandu vaddi gets a phone call to come to the police station for enquiry his assistants say Encounter Dorai is a very clever man.

MALARGAL
Ramesh is with Vidya. He assures her everything will be fine soon. He wants to know about Ashok and their relationship as they belong to the same town. Was he after her for many years. Did she move with him closely. Vidya bursts into tears and says she had no connection with him. She says his questions bother her. She tells him how Shanmukam and Bhasker were humiliated and driven out of their house. Shanmukam mama is a wonderful person and is hepful to every one. Even after the humiliation he says Ramesh is his brother so there is no hard feeling. Ramesh gets angry and says she is wasting his precious time with her talking about Shanmukam just then Revathy comes and calls him for having food. Bhasker goes to the shop to start working. His colleagues say he escaped miraculously from the charge. Just then the uncle comes and pushes him out of the shop. As they were seated the phone rings. The person on the other end asks if Ramesh is there and he wants to talk Revathy conveys the message. Ramesh gets up and says he has to leave. Gounder and his wife entreat him have something and leave. Rameh says his people don't know that he is here. Gounder gets angry. He tells Ramesh that he has come to his inlaws place and why is that a problem. He tells him categorically that hereafter he should come with the knowledge of his people and that too to take his wife. Ramesh rushes out. Pandi's wife is advised by the neighbours to somehow get into the house and bear his taunts. Pandi comes with his children and abuses and hits her and goes in with the children. She becomes enraged and then it looks as though she has some plan.

KOLANGAL
Anandi calls Thols and informs about the visit of Aditya and the minister and his rowdies. Police reach Rajesh's house and beat up his elder brother. Aditya's assistant caught the van of Kartik travels only to fine that Anu and party got down a vada palani. The van driver tells him this is not an abduction as. Anu and mano are lovers and he saw that they were in happy to get away. Tis news shatters Aditya. He comes home where the whole family is srying and praying for Anu's safety. Aditya tells the fact that Anu had eloped. Kanchana faints. Aditya laments what a fool he had been not knowing what is happening in his own house.

SELVI 31st May
Seeing a stranger near her Puja starts running away. Ratnam chases her some distance and all of a sudden she falls down writhing with pain.
Selvi'a mother is in a fix. The child has fever and with the language problem she couldn't get any help. A tamil knowing receptionist helps her reach a hospital where the child is taken in for treatment and she is asked to wait in a lobby. Selvi meets Dilipan and they both go to the temple of fortune. Dilipan tells her that if one prays at this temple, offering incense the prayers are granted. Selvi prays earnestly for the success of her new venture. On the way to meet the friend Muru, Selvi thanks Dilpan for being a good friend in her troubled times. Muru happens to know the travel business head. So the problem of surety is solved. Att he hospital Amar and Ratnam are there. Ratnam asks Amar why he hid the fact that Puja was pregnant. Amar asks the doctor about the condition of his is fine but she has lost the baby Ratnam asks Amar the changed situation what happens to the original plan. Amar says it is still there. Selvi's mother sees Amar at the hospital. Relaxing at a coffee shop, Selvi says to Dileepan, you have helped me so much, why don't you become a partner in my travel business?

PENN
Muthukumar enters Chitra's office, rifles through her papers, and discovers a reference to some phone number. Calls Leela at the mental hospital, sets up a meeting with her purporting to be Chitra's assistant. She tries to verify with Chitra, but Chitra's cell phone is busy. So she falls for the trick, and shows up. Muthukumar follows her back to the mental hospital. He then wheedles the information about Chitra's mother, etc. from one of the attendants, whom he blackmails by taking a picture with his cell phone camera. She has to agree to tell him everything, otherwise she will lose her job. He then goes to Solaiappan to assure him he will repay, because he now has the goods on Chitra, and will get money out of her by blackmailing her. Solaiappan later tells his assistant ("Dog") that Muthukumar should never be allowed to pay, that's how they can keep him on their roster and make him do things for them. He is essential to settling a score between him (Solai) and Ranganayaki.
Ranga, Kala and Uma are supposed to be signing the agreement with Wal-Mart (?). But Uma drags her feet, saying she will not sign for another two days, because there was a current failure just when Ranga was about to sign.
