ANANDAM   4th July      
At the police conference strategy to catch Govindan is chalked out in detail as it is a temple no untoward incident should happen. Dada and his men work out their strategy. Dada warns kandu vaddi that he  or his friends should be nowhere near the place. Police in mufti watch Govindan's wife buy flowers at the entrance and looking around enters the shrine and prays. Govindan with a towel wrapped round his face watches his wife praying. Just then a van arrives and some men get down. A big vessel full of prasadam to be distributed is lifted out of the van. The  leaf plates are filled with prasadam are   being distributed. People throng for the prasadam. In confusion this Govindan is caught by  Dada's men. He is shoved into the van and the van speeds away. Police in mufti realise that they have been outwitted. Dorai chases the van other police cars also give a chase. Inside the van Govindan is attacked by four men. As the police cars surround the van Govindan is pushed out and a volley of bullets pumped into him. The men run for their lives. Dorai sends the wounded Govindan to the hospital and gives a chase to catch the men. He finds a revolver. He picks it up with a hand kerchief. As Govindan is taken into the hospital reporters throng to get news. Dorai arrives gives the reporters the outline of the incident. Govindan's wife and son rush into the hospital crying  one reporter asks how Dorai failed. Dorai says he is a human being and these things happen. Someone asks if Divya murder case will be closed. Dorai hurries inside the hospital.

MALARGAL   
Revathy and Shiva are together they seem to be happy. Shiva says sorry to Revathy he confesses he had not been good to her. Revathy tells him she knows he doesn't like her their relationship has never been one of love. These kind words make her happy. He tells her he will look after her hereafter. He asks about the baby. Her health and so on. She remembers he had not eaten so she goes out to get his food ready. Amala rings to know if had reached as he was answering Revathy comes to ask if he would like to have vatthal in a loud voice. Amala asks what is this vathal business. He asks Revathy to go and Amala asks if he had eaten no he says not yet. She is angry Athai hadn't fed him. Again Revathy comes to call him. He ends the conversation with a kiss asks Amals if her father had found out. She says he does not suspect anything. Ganesh watches TV when the car arrives he goes out and sees Vidya. Anni getting down. He expresses his happiness in welcoming his Anni. He asks Darshani to bring Arati. Sharada  says no need for that. Ramesh comes to talk to her She turns to him and says She has fulfilled his hearts desire in bringing. Vidya home but he has lost his right to call her Amma. Ganesh takes her bag upstairs. Sundari asks Vidya to take milk for Ramesh d. Mother and daughter discuss how to tackle this new problem. Vidya goes and prays n front of her father in law's photo. She asks him to bless her and guide her in this home. In the kitchen Darshani tells her. Sharada has brought her but she will not last 90 days in this house. Vidya goes to Ramesh's room. He suspects something must have happened in the kitchen. She tells him that the challenge in front of her needs a lot of fortitude and patience. With his love and support she hopes to succeed. He is proud of Vidya. At Tulsi's house the in laws find Tulasi missing panic stricken they enter her room and see the letter left by her.

KOLANGAL    
Kishore meets Arjun and hears about Aditya's anger at Usha and how Usha refuses anybody to see the baby. Kishore wants to help. Usha come back to where she belongs. Abhi and Arti are having their lunch in the office. Abhi remembers the days when she shared her lunch with Usha. Arti asks Abhi to go and see Usha. Abhi says the misunderstanding about Anu Mano marriage has made us like enemies. Arti prods her to go and see Usha    k. Kshor's parents visit Aditya's house. They ask why there is no celeberation after the birth of the grandson. Eashwaran and Kanchana try to stall the question. Kishore's parents insist they should go and see the baby. Eashwaran calls Kanchana aside and warns her their sambandi is asking them if they fail to go their community will shun them. She calls Adi and asks him to come to the hospital. Aditya refuses first but as he never disobeys his  mother he agrees to meet at the hospital. Abhi goes to the hospital holds the baby and talks to Usha's parents. Usha enters and takes the baby from Abhi's hands and asks her to leave. Abhi pleads that she had no hand in the Anu Mano register marriage. Usha ignores her pleas and shows her the door. Adi who had come earlier than the parents sees Abhi going out of the room. He looks at the baby and at Usha and barges out as the parents enter the ward. Eashwaran gauging the situation tries to  lessen  the tension making light remarks about Aditya's famous temper. They all enjoy holding the baby. Thanks to Kishore Usha has passed one hurdle.

SELVI
 The moment he started Selvi suspecting Dilpan and Selvi she lost her temper. She asks GJ to go out of the home. Dilipan calms her saying it is her life. Selvi refuses to listen. GJgoes to Tamarai;s parents house. The mother does not even call him in. He is offended and reminds her how she used to welcome him. Mother tells when him everything is over between him and her daughter what does he want from them. Isit money GJ flres up and says they insisted in his marrying Selvi. Because of that Tamarai left him and now Selvi has asked him to leave. Where should he go. The mother is not there to listen to him he goes away. Niranjan and Sivamani are discussing improving their business when Dilipan comes with a sad face. He tells Niranjan that the secret that he is Priyan is known to GJ He tells him he does not know how he got the information. As GJ suspects Selvi has driven she GJ out of the house. Dilipan moans that he wants to leave. He thought of helping and everything misfired. Niranjan loses temper. He catches hold of Dilipan's shirt and shakes him. He asks is this your famous plan of helping. Selvi. You want to leave at the first approach of a problem. GJ will slander you more. Selvi is doing better after you came into the picture. She relies on you. Dilipan promises to stay. GJ is at the beach. Maya , Kathan and Andavan come and meet him. GJ tells his sob story about Selvi and Dilipan that is Priyan. He is her old lover come back after plastic surgery after the acid throwing incident. They sympathise with him. Kathan and Andavan say they are with him and soon they will eliminate. Dilipan. They say he can stay in Maya's guest house. Selvi in a very sad mood refuses to eat. Niranjan comes Mother asks him to console her. Niranjan tells her she did the right thing in throwing Gj out. She is free to work and come up in life. He tells her never to believe any man even her own brother.   A person from her office comes to remind her of the meeting with clients tomorrow. Selvi says she needs two days away from work. Asks him to re schedule the meetings.

Mohini demands to be made MD. Father says he will arrange it. Nothing major.
