GJ Comes Home

Selvi (Episode 282)
JeeJay comes home with Tamarai and Andavan Lingam.Ranjini makes a faux pas by saying that Dilipan (what kind of a name is that?!) is not Selvi's husband. The others cover for her. Andavan lingam makes sarcastic remarks alluding to Dilipan's formal attitude towards Selvi, but Dilipan covers that up. Ranjini's husband tries to indirectly question Andavan's motives in rescuing JeeJay, but Tamarai will have none of it. She's really grateful that he rescued them. Selvi and Dilipan walk off together (what irony) while Tamarai admires them for being such a "decent couple" because they don't indulge in public display of affection.

Selvi gets Complicated, Sudden Death Rules in Manaivi

Selvi (Episode 281)
Right outside the courttroom, GJ has improvised on the spot, telling Tamarai that Dileepan is her husband, who has come from abroad. Tamarai has a polite but gushing conversation with Dileepan, who is silent throughout. She remembers that GJ had told her his name was Sai. "Sai Dileepan", GJ adds quickly. Bells start ringing in Andavan and Son's heads (they recall the name Dileepan). Then Tamarai asks what kind of work he does. GJ says he has joined as a partner in a cell company. That removes all doubt from Andavan. He has some barbs for Selvi, and issues a threat to Dileepan, saying your cell company went out of my hands, but soon you yourself will be in my hands.

Niranjan is furious that GJ has linked Selvi and Dileepan (or at least appears so). Selvi explains that when some female guard in the jail mentioned that Selvi was GJ's second wife (she didn't know anything, she was just drawing a surmise), Tamarai went berserk and thrashed her. GJ and Selvi got a foretaste for what would happen if Tamarai knew. Hence GJ's improvisation and Selvi's meek acceptance of it.

Manaivi(Episode 436) Final

Rohini's parents arrive, and despite Arivu's mother's flares of temper (which she says she exhibits just to keep things interesting) everyone is happy. Her father declares that Rohini's horoscope decrees nothing but good things for her from now on (and for us, now that the old sourpuss going off stage), she's going to have a daughter now, and the second child a son. All are happy.

The entire family -- Ramani, Krishnaveni, Ramani's parents, Hamsaveni (with the baby) and her aunt, are standing around in Ramani's house. They are preoccupied over the usual Tamil drama obsession -- the taali. His parents are trying to get Ramani to tie a taali on Hamsaveni, because -- get this that's why she has done all these bad things -- the lack of legitimacy. Ramani stands steadfast that he will not. Finally they ask Krishnaveni, who hasn't said anything since for two episodes -- to persuade him. She too tries. He still refuses. Finally, Hamsaveni speaks. She says her repentance has nothing to do with wanting to win back Ramani legitimately. She says she has done so many bad things that she can never fully absolve her sins. She hands over the child to Krishnaveni saying, I want this child to grow up like you. This is really your child. Bring her up and never tell her about me. She says she is going away. Chorus -- where will you go? This is a bad world (rather like telling Daoud Ibrahim to watch out for bad characters), they say. She insists. Krishnaveni says, "Go if you like, but at least let us know where you are". She replies, "I myself don't know where I am going". Then she leaves. On the pathway, she hesitates a little, and then, with determination, opens the gate and walks out.

Hamsaveni is shown sitting in an empty house, brooding. How much wrong I have done. To Krishnaveni, to that fine family, which deserved to be so happy. No. Just giving up my child is not punishment enough...

The next scene is outside a house, with a board, Mother Thereasa(sic) Children's Home somewhere in CHennai. Hamsaveni comes out, and a whole bunch of kids follow her, and flock around her and sit down. They are orphans, for whom Hamsaveni is mother. She requests that we grow to like her over time. And in the usual Hamsaveni confidence, she says, "You will".

I am not so sure. This sudden death was like one-day cricket. I at least wasn't expecting it to end this soon. The serial had some great acting -- Krishnaveni and Hamsaveni were so distinct that you could tell them by some intangible characteristic even when they were not speaking (even forgetting the forehead injury). Delhi Ganesh, the guy who acted as Arasu, and the josiyar. As to any other redeeming features, the serial was a blank. Entertaining, but nothing beyond.

Major Developments

Selvi
As predicted yesterday, Andavan persuades Maya (Andavan and son playing good-cop/bad-cop) to sign on a blank stamp paper and receive 30 lakh rupees. Now he can get the house, and all her property.

Meanwhile, Selvi has talked to Dileepan, who arranges for 45 lakh rupees. After GJ has been released following, they come out of the court, GJ thanking Andavan profusely and Tamarai saying she will never be able to repay him enough (truer than she realizes) they run into Selvi, Niranjan and Dileepan/Piriyan. Selvi says she has brought the money, and the thanks are entirely due to this person (points to Dileepan). Who is this person, asks Tamarai.

Selvi's husband, improvises GJ!

How clever!

Manaivi
Hamsaveni (the real Krishnaveni) is feeding the child the milk. Suddenly her aunt appears from the kitchen, where she has found a suicide note, purportedly saying that she (Hamsaveni) is committing suicide. Reading the note, Krishnaveni (real) realizes what has happened, and asks her aunt who has been in the house. She admits it. Krishnaveni rushes the child to the hospital. Aunt rushes calls Krishnaveni (the real Hamsaveni) and tells her what has happened. Much agitation. She rushes out. Won't tell anyone. Reaches Krishnaveni's place. Aunt says she doesn't know which hospital she has taken the child to. Ramani's parents also follow her. She tries calling Krishnaveni (real)'s cell number, but she cuts off the line when she sees who's calling. Then she calls Ramani and asks him to call. She tells him which hospital, but doesn't say anything about poison, etc.

They all reach the hospital. Ramani shouts at Hamsaveni (real K), saying she has now poisoned the child just to get his attention. She remains silent and weeps in sorrow (at his ignorance) during his long speech. Then the real Hamsaveni breaks down, saying she has committed a grave error, misled by her anger. She has poisoned her own child. Admits she is the real Hamsaveni!

Bail Money for GJ, Thiru's Tragedy, Hamsaveni's poison

Selvi
GJ tells his fabrication to Tamarai, who seems relieved to have finally obtained the truth. When she asks why he had hidden all this from her, he says out of concern for her health.

Selvi is listening, and after Tamarai leaves, takes GJ to task for his lies. She says she will tell Tamarai everything, she says she feels guilty hiding the truth from Tamarai. GJ urges her to wait until he gets out.

Which is a problem. Niranjan overhears Andavan bribing and threatening GJ's lawyer alternately in a restaurant. Takes the story to Dileepan/Piriyan, who manages to send a fresh lawyer to the trial, and the bail is obtained. It is for 45 lakhs altogether. Tamarai calls her dad for the money. His position is tight, and he says he will arrange for it in 48 hours. She slams the phone down in anger. The whole family is distressing over it, when Andavan and Co. arrive. I think the next step is for them to offer the money for GJ's house as collateral.

Manaivi
Lots of stuff. Ravi calls Thiru and tells him that he stopped by Thiru's house, because he was in the neighborhood. There he saw Divya and Arivu together. He challenged Arivu, and Arivu beat him up. Thiru's blood is boiling. He says he will tackle Arivu. Then he is shown going home, and instead of Arivu, he finds Ravi, threatening to molest Divya. He beats him repeatedly with a stick and Ravi is shown bloodied and lying on the floor, most likely dead. Great acting by both Divya and Thiru after he realizes what has happened.

Arasu is called by a senior leader of the party, who asks him to mend his ways. Arasu is cocky and arrogant, and on top of it, threatens to expose everyone in the party if they lay a hand on him. The old fox decides it is time to put this fellow away.

Nicely done. The next scene is Kalpana and KK at Tiruchelvam's place, with sweets to celebrate Arasu's arrest. They have found Apu and he has turned approver. Kalpana also persuades Arivu's mom to invite Rohini's parents back into their place.

Hamsaveni comes over to Krishnaveni's place when the latter is away. Asks aunt what Krishnaveni likes to eat. Aunt says she doesn't eat much, only milk. At this point Krishnaveni arrives. Aunt hides Hamsa in the kitchen, with the child in her arms. Aunt persuades Krishnaveni to go and change while she gets some milk. While aunt is not there, Hamsaveni empties some poison into the milk. Then she slips away while Krishnaveni is changing. When Krishnaveni comes back, aunt (without knowing anything about the poison) gives Krishnaveni the milk. Predictably, Krishnaveni is about to give the milk to the baby...

Tooooooddddddrrrrrrruuuuummmmmm.......

Revelations

Selvi
Maya says it all started with Selvi's marriage. Tamarai is first shocked but asks Maya, what happened at Sevli's wedding? Maya plays along a little, and the dispatches her to Selvi's house, saying they would be best qualified to answer her. Tamarai reaches Selvi's house. Selvi is not home. Tells Selvi's mother all her fears. Malar fumes in her room, hurls curses at GJ. Madhu enjoys the turmoil. Tamarai asks about Selvi's marriage. Need to know everything, everyting. Selvi's mother is caught in a bind. What happened, tell me, says Tamarai. Malar pushes Madhu aside and goes to tell Tamarai the truth.

Malar begins to tell her. To distract her, Madhu pinches the child to attract Malar. Malar goes. Selvi's mother says to Tamarai, why not you ask GJ?

Tamarai leaves. Malar shouts at Madhu. Why did you do this? Madhu says to her, "use your head. If you tell Tamarai, she will collapse and die. If she does, Selvi will bring GJ out and they will live happily ever after. Then what happens to all your revenge?"

Selvi returns. When told what has happened, she decides she has to see Tamarai.

Tamarai is at the lockup, talking to GJ. GJ tries to resist, but she insists. He says, I'll tell you, if you don't get upset, and you don't tell anyone. And then he begins to spin a fantastic tale. Meanwhile, Selvi enters, unbeknownst to them. GJ's story:

Maya and an NRI had their marriage fixed, all via phone. Then the NRI came and just as the marriage was about to take place, he came to know that Maya had already been married, but her husband had died. So he broke off the marriage. Then he happened to meet Selvi at a shopping mal and liked herl, and he (GJ) hastily arranged their wedding and conducted it. Selvi's jaw drops as she hears this wild tale. She is shocked and outraged.

Toodrummmmm.

Manaivi
Thiru goes bonkers. He is hallucinating about Arivu being there, and comes in and starts demanding to know where she has hidden him. then he calls Rohini and threatens to kill Arivu. She finally understands what jealousy can do, and regrets what she has by her suspicion.

Krishnaveni (the real one) receives her father's friend, the Police Commissioner, at her garden. Despite her express instructions, her aunt tries to listen in. Then she goes to  Hamsaveni. Tells Hamsaveni that the police officer visited, but that she couldn't listen in, only that they spoke for a while. Meanwhile, Ramani's father is watching this conversation. Goes to report to his wife. Ramani comes in. His mother expresses her doubt that there has been a switch between Krishnaveni and Hamsaveni. Why are Krishnaveni and aunt conspiring behind some bush instead of speaking inside the house, asks his father. Ramani brushes off these doubts and walks off in a huff.

Ravi shows up at Divya's place. She sends and SMS to Arivu, who shows up and beats up and chases away Ravi.

Humdrum

Selvi
Tamarai ultra disappointed at GJ's bail refusal. Selvi consoles her, while Andavan and Co. watch, chuckling. Later in the evening Andavan celebrates this victory by getting drunk. The lawyer (GJ's, whom he bribed) is waiting outside to meet him. The lawyer assures him that as long as he is practising in the court, GJ will never get bail, upon which Andavan bribes him some more.

At Selvi's home, Malar says more harsh words wounding Selvi.

Ranjani and Tamarai go to visit the lawyer, who says he cannot get GJ out, because GJ is not telling him the whole truth about Maya and himself. Tamarai says Ranjani can tell him everything, because she herself was out sick during the Vijay murder. Ranjani says she doesn't know. Tamarai says, let's go to Maya's place and ask what the connection is. Ranjani suggests they meet Maya herself. They go to the lockup. Maya begins, the problem began with your friend Selivi's wedding. Tamarai is aghast...Thodarum.

Manaivi
Aunt meets Hamsaveni (acting as Krishnaveni), who says she should spy on Krishnaveni. Aunt is apprehensive. Tries to talk to Krishnaveni (acting as Hamsaveni) into giving the child back, but she says nothing doing. Aunt takes the child on her own to Hamsaveni. The grandparents are happy, but Hamsaveni refuses to keep the child, saying she will get her back in her own way. During the visit, aunt blurts out Hamsaveni when she means Krishnaveni, inciting further suspicion in Thangam (Ramani's mother)'s mind. When she gets back, Krishnaveni scolds her for taking the child, and says keep out of this business. I have my own plans, Hamsaveni is beyond redemption, and I cannot forgive her any more.

Thiru comes to his sister's hospital and tells all about the Ravi episode. Sister says that's nonsense, he should quit suspecting Divya. He mentions Arivu, and she tells him Arivu and Rohini are expecting a child, there is no chance that Arivu is in the picture. He still doesn't buy it, and gets angry with his sister for not believing him, and believing Divya instead. He goes home, and imagines that Arivu and Divya are in a love-conversation. Actually Divya is watching television.

No Bail for GJ, Divya's woes continue, Arasu Triumphant, Rohini Reconciles

Selvi (Episode 276)
When Niranjan arrives at the lawyer's office to pick up the letter he said he would give, Kartha sees him coming, and warns Andavan and son. They move into a side room in the lawyer's office, while Niranjan picks up his letter. After Niranjan leaves, Andavan warns the lawyer slyly that he had better scuttle the bail application.

Selvi and Niranjan are traveling by auto when she tells him she wants to stop by Dileepan's room and inform him. They do. Selvi tells him. Dileepan tells her it's ok.

Selvi and Dileepan go to court. They run into Andavan and co. there, who mock them. They are there to keep the lawyer in line. Court scene. Cross examination goes on. Maya admits to being responsible for murder by arranging for the bomb. The prosecution lawyer asks why. Maya points ot GJ, saying he asked her to do it. GJ's lawyer cross-examines her. No relation between Maya and GJ. Lawyer says if there is no relation between her and the deceased, why did she kill him? She says GJ asked her to.

GJ comes to the stand and denies any role in the illing, but refuses to say what the relationship was between him and Maya. His lawyer argues energetically, but bail is denied (probably the lawyer threw the case).

Meanwhile, Tamarai is awaiting GJ's arrival eagerly, when Selvi and Tamarai's dad return, saying that bail has been denied.

Manaivi

Divya's woes continue. Ravi has knocked on the door and come in when she is alone. She has to threaten him with a knife and throw him out. He waits outside, but when Thiru arrives, tells him Divya had invited him to give him a treat. Then he leaves. Divya has a difficult time explaining to Thiru. In themanner of true Tamil drama, simple explanations are not allowed. She has to talk in riddles, and he is convinced something is going on.

Minister Marimuthu's sidekick arrives at Mala's place, and Maya's mom tells him Arasu is involved in the Sivapragasam murder, if he finds Apu, the police can do the rest. He promises to. Arasu returns in the meantime, and shows Mala (through the window) her mother is conspiring to set them apart. He later goes to the party office and thrashes the sidekick. Marimuthu sees this and berates Arasu. Arasu threatens him with the same fate as with Sivapragasam. Marimuthu finds he has encouraged a real fiend.

Mala is so infuriated with her mother that she tells her mother to get out. Mother is flabbergasted. Arasu plays good son-in-law, saying that that is not correct. Let her mother have all her money, we
will move out to another house.

Arivu and Rohini go to Sriperumbudur, to Arivu's parents. Arivu's mother is cold and unfriendly, and goes away to the kitchen. Arivu announces loudly, saying dad, I'm only telling you -- you're going to become a granddad. Immediately the mother comes cooing to Rohini, calling her darling and dear, kissing her, etc. Rohini too seeks her forgiveness for taking Arivu away from the family. Arivu's mother then proposes making chicken biryani, but a look from her husband, and in deference to Rohini's preferences, changes it to vadai and payasam.

Loose Ends

Selvi (Episode 275)
Tamarai is shown crying. Kids not eating, pining for dad. Goes and knocks on Ranjani's door. Says, lets cook breakfast for GJ. Turns out the time is only 2 AM. Ranjani consoles Tamarai, assures her she will prepare all the food, sends Tamarai to bed. Next morning, Tamarai is doing aarati before the gods. Then, bangs her knee on the swing. Takes it as a poor omen. Satya says she should stand brave.  Says she should take GJ's travails as a lesson. Then he forbids Ranjani from coming to the police station. Satya and Tamarai go to the station, taking food.

At the station, Tamarai breaks down. GJ is sleeping sitting up in the cell. GJ consoles her, asking her not to cry, assures here he will be out soon. How are the kids? he asks. She tells him they will not eat in his absence. He says they must be affected by him. The she says she has brought food. He says he has already eaten -- Selvi brought food just now. Tamarai is shocked. Satya explains the altercation between Malar and Tamarai, and her subsequent anger with Selvi. GJ says Selvi didn't tell me this. Satya says Selvi was not one to share her troubles with others.

At the police station, Selvi and Tamarai meet. Tamarai apologizes to Selvi. Then all of them  go to the lawyer's office in relation to GJ's bail. The lawyer says it should be a piece of cake. After they leave, Andavarlingam and Co. arrive at the lawyer's and offer the lawyer a lot more money to keep GJ from being released on bail. Lawyer is conscience-stricken, but greedy wife is not. While they are there, Selvi remembers the lawyer had asked her to pick up something from his clerk, so they return. Niranjan is shown entering the office as Kartalingam sees him...

Manaivi
Ramani's parents tell him they suspect Krishnaveni is really Hamsaveni. Just as they are talking, "Krishnaveni" (really Hamsaveni) comes in and overhears them. She creates a scene, which leaves them all confused.

Arivu and Rohini go to the doctor. Who should be the nurse but Aruna (Thiru's sister), who is  now a changed woman, who speaks sweetly to Rohini and Arivu, expresses regret for how she had treated Divya, and praises Divya no end. She also says she had misunderstood the Arivu-Divya relationship for a long time and she was now clear it was just friendship.

Arivu and Rohini come out. The pregnancy is confirmed and Rohini is now happy to be at peace with everyone, including her mother-in-law. She tells Arivu, let us move back into your parents' home. We'll go and ask for your mother's forgiveness.

Arasu goes to Kalpana's house and threatens her -- give the baby, or else the rest of your folks will meet the same fate as your father.

Andavan Moves in, Thiru-Sister Meeting

Selvi
Andavarlingam goes to the lockup and taunts GJ.

Conversation in Tamarai's house: Pooja says she will not go to Maya's place, after what Maya has done to her brother. Tamarai is pleading with her not to let one relationship interfere with another. Meanwhile, Andavarlingam and Co. walk in. To everyone's surprise, he says he agrees with Pooja. He too was so disgusted with what Maya did that he had severed all relations with his brother-in-law's family (Maya's) and moved out. His sidekick Kartha helpfully asks, should I book tickets? Andavan plays the sympathy card: "Are you nuts? Here is brother GJ in trouble, and you are suggesting we go abroad? Of course not. Book me a hotel room." To which the crony says, "Where can we find a hotel for a man of your status? Why not stay at Madame Tamarai's place?" Andavarlingam makes protesting noises, but Tamarai immediately says, "This is your house. You can stay as long as you want.". So it is settled.

In Selvi's place, Selvi is sitting alone, weeping. Niranjan comes and talks to her. After a long conversation, where she tells him about Tamarai's words, he seems to melt, and says he will help her secure GJ's release.

Manaivi
Thiru goes to the hospital to meet Aruna (his sister). She says Divya is a fine girl, and Thiru's responsibility is to look after her and keep her happy. She says she was wrong in mistreating Divya. Thiru is surprised by her about-face, and asks what had happened. She refuses to tell him, says she and he cannot stay in the same home again, and that if he comes to see her again, he should only come with Divya.

At Krishnaveni (really, Hamsaveni)'s place, she explodes in anger when her father-in-law calls her to eat. His parents send Ramani to pacify her. He tries talking to her.

Divya hands her resignation to her lecher boss. He tries to misbehave again, but she spits on his face, shoves him aside, and leaves.

Mala's mother tries to tell her about Arasu's involvement in Sivapragasam's murder. She is agitated, but says she will talk to Arasu. He is standing right outside the room, listening.

Selvi, Keep Out

Tamarai-Selvi Rift
Tamarai returns from her visit to Selvi's place, hurt and insulted by Malar and Niranjan. She includes Selvi in her disappointment. When she reaches home, she confides in Ranjani, who loses no time in stoking her anger. Selvi and Tamarai's father arrive with a lawyer. Tamarai asks Selvi to stay out. Selvi is taken aback.

Andavan, YoYo and Karta go to visit Maya in jail. Anadavan encourages her and praises her following his strategy. He says Selvi and Tamarai will break up because of this.

Niranjan and Dileepan/Piriyan confer. We need to let Selvi know the full truth about GJ, they decide.

Selvi and Tamarai's dad talk. He is apologetic about Tamarai's anger at her, and says he will fall at her feet. She says what use will that be. One day she will come to know the full story and get even more mad. Will you fall at my feet again then?

--Thanks to VK for relating the story. For some reason the program did not show up on my TV today.

Manaivi
KK and Kalpana go to the police station to register a formal complaint against Arasu. The inspector is reluctant to enteratain the complaint. He hems and haws. There is no proof, he says. Suddenly he gets a phone call, after which he immediately becomes all friendly and receptive, saying the path is clear, please give me the complaint and I will act on it.

Arasu is addressing a party condolence meeting for Sivapragasam. The cops arrive. He asks the party workers to remain calm, and accompanies the police to their vehicle to the police station.
In the police station, Arasu is cool and unshaken by the cop's questioning, although he does feel internally disturbed when the inspector mentions Apu. Finally it comes to a showdown. Cop says I have orders from higher up. Arasu says, 'Do your worst. I know how to take care of myself.'

Tamarai gets a jolt of reality, A ray of sunshine in Divya's life

Selvi
Tamarai and Selvi meet Maya, who is as harsh as ever. She speaks of people who had betrayed her, without naming names. When Tamarai asks GJ (also in lockup) he says he is not connected with Vijay's (Malar's husband's) murder. Tamarai believes him. The inspector tells Tamarai her best course would be to seek Malar's intervention. If she withdrew her complaint, GJ could get bail (don't ask questions about the law here, this is Tamil country, and a tv drama at that).

Well, Tamarai goes to meet Malar. The mother is nocommittal, although moved. Malar refuses to help, and adds that GJ deserves to hang. Tamarai reminds her of her and GJ officiating over her wedding, and if they would be motivated to wish her or her husband ill. That was then, is Malar's opaque answer. Niranjan also rubs salt in the wounds by saying that if the police had arrested GJ, there must be adequate cause. Tamarai gives it to him hot. Did we not believe you when the police were chasing you? Anyway, she is resolved to get GJ out, come what may.

Manaivi
Malashri's mother comes to Kalpana and reveals that Arasu was behind her father's death, and that his 'benami' (proxy) Apu was the one who enticed her dad with promises of providing evidence against Arasu, and then lured him to a secluded place and killed him. Krishnakumar leaves, saying he would settle Arasu's hash.

In Divya's place, here brother-in-law hangs around at home, after Thiru and Aruna have left, and tries to misbehave with Divya. Aruna returns unexpectedly, her scooter having broken down, and sees everything. She decides to take her husband (whose tendencies she knows) and leave. She apologizes eloquently to Divya for spoiling her happiness, she says owing to jealousy -- she herself had no parents and was molested by her husband whom she later married, and her frustration showed in all her relationships. Thiru she regarded as a son, and was unable to let go of him even after he had gotten married.

When Thiru returns, he accuses Divya of having driven his sister and brother-in-law away. She denies it but having promised Aruna not to tell him any details, remains silent on that score. He says he will bring them back.

GJ in JG (Jail/Gaol)

Selvi
Interesting developments - chain of events: Malar hallucinates about her husband showing up and accusing her of not even following up on his murder-She threatens the inspector, asking him to move on the investigation - he catches the fellow who made the bomb - who points to Maya - who, on Andavarlingam's clever advice, admits to ordering the bomb -- but...says she did it on GJ's instructions! Police arrive at Selvi's place, where GJ is basking in the aftermath of a signed contract with Dileepan (alias Piriyan). They pick him up. Selvi is anguished, but Malar and Niranjan rejoice.

Selvi goes to Tamarai, picks her up and takes her to the police station. The inspector permits them to see Maya, who is in custody. Tamarai wants to know why Maya would do this.

Manaivi
Thangam (Ramani's mother) suspects that Krishnaveni and Hamsaveni have traded places. She confides this in Krishnaveni's aunt, who already knows of it. Meanwhile, Krishnaveni's purse has been handed to Hamsaveni, who now has control of her ATM card, etc., thereby gaining confidence that Krishnaveni's funds are cut off.

Krishnakumar and Kalpana are aghast that Sivapragasam's death has been ruled a heart attack, clearly a coverup on the part of the police.
