ANANDAM
A group of builders comes to Abhirami and her sambandhi. They are planning to build a huge building on her property and give her three floors. RK comes to visit Laxmanan. Some doctors come to him requesting him to sign certificates for those who donated blood. RK says time to tell the daughter everything. Meeting between policeman and Shanti. He shares Kanduvaddi's threat. She suggests Ramakrishnan's death might not be a suicide, and shows a newspaper report of a similar case. Abhirami is listening to Shehnai music. Her partner calls, and discusses the building plans from earlier that morning. Says he will handle all the negotiations. Karthik is pacing the floor. His mother asks him what he is anxious about. Soon the door opens and his daughter comes in, followed by her mother. Karthik's mother's face lights up in happiness.

MALARGAL
Ramesh and Ganesh are talking. Ramesh talks about all the troubles Vidya has gone through. Says he will visit Nachiarpuram frequently. Overheard by Lakshmi. She and her mother plot to get Vidya out of Ramesh's mind.Lakshmi brings up Vidya's name in front of Ramesh's mother Sharada, who bans all mention of Vidya's name in her home. Amala sends an SMS to Shiva "I hate you". He calls back, but she cuts off the line. After scolding him, she discovers what happened at the marriage, the arrest of his brother, his niece's hospitalization, etc. She apologizes. Bhaskar is released from prison, as the inspector discovers a discrepancy. Mallika and her father arrive at the station. She says a bunch of things against his family. She says she will not go to Nachiarpuram, neither should he. Bhaskar is furious, and takes off without her. She and her father are stunned.

KOLANGAL
Abhi's mother goes to meet Ishwar at his home. He is not home. His wife wants to see the lady. She doesn't want to meet her, and leaves.  Ishwar is still home, and drives past her without seeing her. He has seen her, but cannot admit to his wife he has. Abhi's mother goes to the temple to pour out her woes.  Ishwar shows up. She tells him Mano is in love with Anu. He tells her Anu is not his daughter, but Kanchana's brother's daughter. She still says it is not a good match, and he should do everything to stop it. Manohar and his uncle get down from Mano's motorbike. Mano challenges him -- did you tell my mother about Anu? He says all kinds of insulting things in anger, and the abandons him and goes away on his motorbike. Uncle cries.

SELVI
Amar is talking in the garden -- it is the ruffian hireling who kidnapped Puja. He also telephoned Tamarai, who refused to enteratain his call. He promises Tamarai he will take revenge on Selvi, who, they agree is at the bottom of this blackmail operation. Malar is with her parents in law. The children are sick, and the parents in law are very concerned. Malar goes to her room with milk for one of the children. She drops the tumbler in shock - next thing everyone is in the hospital. Child has dengue fever, and needs to be admitted in the ICU. Will cost Rs. 50000, without which treatment cannot start.  Malar's father in law contacts Amar. He brings the money. As he hands it over, Selvi sees them. She follows them in a an  autorikshaw. When Malar is paying the money given to her by her fathr in law, Amar enters and calls out to her. She is furious at seeing him. When she is told by her father in law that he is the donor, she throws the money at his face, saying she would rather her child was not saved if the money had to come from Amar. He leaves. She walks out. Selvi shows up, and after arguments with parents in law, discovers the problem. She argues with the doctor, and promises to return with the money. Malar is shocked. Amar is also stunned.

PENN
Ranga's father spews abuse on Kala. Kala is silent, but Ranga asks him to shut up. Kala says there is a hurricane in the US, where her son Akash resides. She is unable to reach him, and is upset. Kasi said to come to Ranga's place, hence she came. She has been unable to get through. Finally he calls, all is well. Mohini is back home and resting. She is very upset, crying. She tells Senthil she slipped in the bathroom in the office, and aborted her pregnancy. She blames Senthil for stopping his parents from their pilgrimage to Tirupathi. Senthil comes down in the morning. Mother offers him coffee. He doesn't accept it. A jeweller comes in. He has been invited by Senthil's mother, who wants to make a new necklace for Mohini. Senthil says, no need for this, and sends away the jeweller. His parents ask why. Senthil cries. When the fact is revealed, parents, son, all cry. Mohini takes full advantage. Manohar gets down from the car, near a temple. Sivadhanu says the Anjali picture turned back into a Murugan picture. They go into the temple and emerge. They find Anjali, fully dressed in marriage garb, hair decked with flowers.  She has ber back to them. Sivadhanu asks where the samiyaar who lived there was. Why, she asks, turning toward them. Does Manohar want to see him?  Manohar turns ashen.

April 27

ANANDAM
RK brings foreign doctor to Laxmanan. RK tells Laxmanan lot of people have volunteered to donate blood for him. Laxmanan says, what use is that, when I am unable to tell my own daughter. RK and doctor come out, and find Uma outside, waiting to donate blood. Apparently she got a message saying her blood group was needed for a cancer patient. Kanduvaddi  calls the policeman, and tells him two crime branch cops visited him, challenging him that he knows he is behind it. Mrs. RK is sitting at the table,. cutting vegetables, when the front doorbell rings. A young man, Raj, shows up with a saree Karthik has ordered. His mother wonders who it is for. Asks Karthik. He hems and haws. Mother says knowingly -- I know it is a saree. Govindan sees the old man sweeping his front yard. Says, why are you doing all this, you have just recovered. Old man says it is 25 year anniversary of his children's death next week. Govindan says, let me participate in the ceremony this year. Says it will be an expiation for my sins. But old man says no thanks. Your cooperation is enough, no blood money from you. Govindan is touched. Starts sweeping. Shanti is cooking. Uma is looking on. Uma leaves. The child is busy eating lunch. Karthik shows up with the saree. Gives her the saree asking her to wear it to the temple. Why? she asks. Our wedding day, he replies.

MALARGAL

Gownder and son are in the hospital. His son chides him for suspecting Bhasker, and he is touched. He says he will go and arrange for money for the child's treatment. At his home, Gouwnder's wife tells him Vidya's husband came. Says he was very kind and undersanding. He is happy that Vidya got some solace. The moneylender Mudaliar arrives. Gownder is planning to pawn the ancestral land to get money for the granddaughter. Mudaliar commiserates that Gownder has just spent a lot of money on a failed marriage for his daughter, and now this. Anyhow, he says he will arrange the money. The phone rings. At Gownder's son-in-law's home, his mother is very angry with Gownder's wife, for allegedly being impolite to her. He says, I know whose nature is what.
He says his mother's sharp tongue has ruined his in laws. Her brother advises her to cooperate with her son and daughter in law. Son says, I'll bring Tulasi back.

KOLANGAL

Tholkapiyan is worried. Shanti asks why. He says, you saw Upendra the other day. I told you it wasn't him, but it was him. I too saw him. I tried to chase him, but he escaped. Why is he back? Why do you say he killed Ranjani? she asks. He is a psychopath, says Tholkappiyan. While they are talking, the policeman arrives.  He warns Tholkapiyan that Abhi and he are going to implicated in Ranjani's case. They have appointed Viswanath as an officer in the case. He says it essential to track Upendra down. He should use Mari to help in the effort. Upendra goes to a fake passport maker, Gangiah, and demands that he make a passport -- he needs to go to america. Needs a duplicate passport in a different name. Difficult, says Gangiah. That's why I've come to you, says Upendra. Are you going to kill someone, says Gangiah. Who are you going to kill? I need two and a half lacs to make this passport, says Gangiah. I do fine work. Says there should be no problem. Come with the money in a week. Abhi's mother is walking with her brother. He says her son Mano is in love with Anu, who is Aditya's sister. She is shocked. Tirumalachari's son in law comes and peeks into Upendra's quarters. Upendra catches hold of him. He tries to blackmail Upendra. He says, how do I know you are not a terrorist? Get out, says Upendra, and pushes him out. Ganga hears the noise and comes out to investigate. Ganga apologizes to Upendra for his troubles with the brother in law. Upendra says I need a favor from you. I'll tell you when the time comes. She says she will. Abhi's mother slaps her son for falling in love. He doesn't understand why. She says, do you know who Anu is? She is your enemy!!! she shouts. Aditya is out to ruin Abhi. You want to pursue his sister? He says, Anu is not responsible for Adi's doings. He still persists. She is left crying.

SELVI
Dileepan and Selvi are talking. He asks Selvi to rein in GJ. She says it is embarrassing to see GJ so craven. She says she has even said she will go and earn money herself. Dileepan says he will recommend her to his friend, a travel agent. She thanks him. At this point, Maya arrives, and sees them. She takes a photograph of the two of them together on her cell phone camera. GJ is consulting a lqwyer regarding the business. Lawyer says Dileepan cannot get him out -- case is very strong. Both he and Selvi need to sign to file a lawsuit. Andavarlingam is talking to Kartha. Says we need to check Dileepan's background. Some guy shows up to say GJ came to Dileepan and threatened him. Dileepan comes in. Says, why not return the money? Says he has no money now, poor chap. Andavarlingam says nothing doing. It is Tamarai's money. Dileepan says GJ has the right, if he goes to  court, I will be in trouble. Andavan says don't worry, I'll deal with him. GJ is walking down a narrow street.  It nearly runs him down. It is Maya. She shows him the photo/video of Selvi and Dileepan. Andavan is sitting down with Tamarai and Dileepan. They are talking to a legal advisor. Tells her Selvi is threatening to sue. GJ assaulted Dileepan. She gets all hot and riled up. The lawyer (whom Andavan has bribed), speaks the truth -- GJ and Selvi have the rights. Andavan puts it in black and white -- so we cannot enter, but only Selvi and GJ can! Lawyer has an idea. Says let us cancel GJ and Dileepan's agreement, and make a fresh agreement. Tamarai says, go for it.  GJ is sitting outside his(!) house, pondering the lawyer's words and Maya's evidence. Selvi arrives. Says the lawyer says we can get a stay order.  She says why do you want to do all this? GJ says we need both our signatures. Please sign here. Selvi hesitates, then refuses.  Says it is not our money. Tamarai will think it was only for the money. GJ says, what about your threat to Dileepan to shut the compnay. GJ says, why this sudden change of heart?  He says, I know why you don't want to sign. Selvi wonders what he knows.

PENN
Bharani and Mohini are at the doctor's. Bharani goes in to talk to the doctor. Naturally, the doctor is suspecting him of the deed. Doctor says ok, send in your friend.  Doctor interviews Mohini. Doctor says you've tried several places, I think. Everyone wants to have my husband along. Doctor says we can go ahead. Says if the signature is needed, I can get Bharani to sign. Bharani runs into a friend while sitting outside. Bharani goes and thanks the doctor. Doctor says Bharani, be careful, indicating she suspects him of being the father. He has no way of convincing her otherwise. Mohini is set to go to the doctor to get the abortion done. Meanwhile, her parents in law are all packed and ready to go to Tirupathi. Mohini is thrilled at this sudden benefit, which clears her plans. Senthil comes in and is surprised. He says he will make all arrangements himself. The deed is done. Doctor again talks as though it is Bharani's child. Karthik is requested by grandfather to give him a photograph of himself. Karthik demands and gets Rs. 1000. Kasi and Kala arrive by autorikshaw. Grandfather yells at Kala, saying because of Kala Ranga's life was spoiled. He makes reference to Kala's mother, alleging she was running much more than a tiffin shop. Ranga protests.

SELVI (Episode 323)

Ranjani kindles Tamarai's worst instincts by feeding her a steady line of taunts from Selvi's stealing her husband to Selvi being disloyal for all her help, to Selvi's family scrounging off Tamarai's dad, to Selvi poisoning her family against her. She tells Tamarai to be reliant on her and her cohorts, rather than anyone else. Tamarai's rage rises. At Deverajan's place, Andavan and Devarajan, along with strategic interventions by Karthalingam, suggest to Dileepan that Maya is available for marriage. Dileepan at first refuses, but, after allowing them to sweet talk him, cleverly accepts, then smiles to himself at his strategic win. Later, GJ goes to Dileepan and demands his 2 crores back. Dileepan tries to explain to him, but he will not listen, and grabs him by the collar. Dileepan politely tells him he will call security. GJ leaves, full of threats. Dileepan calls Selvi and tells her GJ doesn't understand he is doing all this to scuttle Andavan, and that the entire plan will unravel if he continues to be disruptive. While he is meeting Selvi at what seems to be only restaurant in the city for all Selvi episodes, Maya comes down the path and sees the two of them engrossed in conversation.

PENN
Deepa tells Kala in a very convincing fashion that her interest is only in friendship, and that would be spoilt by introducing a mother-in-law daughter-in-law factor. Kala is touched. Ranga enters, and she tells her the same thing. She says the same thing in the car, but Kasi tells her, who will manage her property, etc., if a capable person like you refuses (i.e., be a daughter in law so you can be a property manager). She refuses.  Later, Ranga talks to Karthik, showing him the other photographs. He says he's not interested. He just wants to blow off his mother's money while she is alive...She is shocked at his referring to her mortality. He leaves her behind and goes off in his motorbike. Mohini is still searching for a doctor who will secretly abort her pregnancy. She comes across Bharani on the street, and shares her secret with him. He promises to take her to a reliable doctor who will do this without asking questions.

April 25

ANANDAM 25th April


Govindan hears the sound of motorbikes. Sees policeman questioning the watchman. He makes his escape.   Running fast he approaches a memorial of children who died in a school collapse.  He goes further and hears someone moaning in pain. He  rushes in and finds a glass of water and gives it to the sick person. He fetches the medicines that man needed and offered to make kanji for him.  The sick man thanks him for the timely help.  RK had to coax and cajole Laxman to see the foreign doctor. Sending him for more tests the doctor informs RK that his condition is not good. He has to take more transfusions. Uma is busy in her office with Gautam   Kartik enters and after pleasantries requests a grand saree from their best designs.  Uma and Gautam wonder for whom is he ordering an expensive saree. Kanduvaddi follows the police chief in his morning walk He pleads with him to find out  who are the two persons impersonating as Ramakrishnan's relatives. Police agrees and gets back to his car where he finds a cover with money in it.

Malargal       Episode 134


It is an emotional meeting for Ramesh and Vidya; He asks to see her her parents are. When he hears about Meenakshi's illness and Bhasker's arrest he is sorry for them. She asks how his mother is. He says it will take time for her to recover from the shock that her husband was poisoned. He tells her his grief He feels guilty of his behavior towards his father  He cannot sleep and he hates himself. She sympathises with him and says now that he has spoken to her about it he will recover. He says he already feels better. He also says he believes in Bhasker's innocence. He asks who is the enemy of their family. She says she doesn't know. She says she cannot speak with anyone in the family  as the problems they are facing are innumerable. Ashok takes the wedding video to his friend's house to watch. The scene: Vidya as a bride and later her weeping brings tears to his eyes.   Kadir's uncle asks if he got back the money lent to Ramesh. Kadir scolds his uncle not to be so mean. He says Bhasker is not the guy to go in for such schemes. There is somebody else.
The idea flashes in his mind that it must be Pandian. He makes a phone call to him in a different voice and threatens him he knows the truth about his involvement in the case.   He later calls Pandi to come and see him Pandian is angry with Kadir and tells Ashok that it is time to give Kadir special coffee.

KOLANGAL  


Minister Pandian and Aditya are with the police chief. They want the Ranjani case to be revoked and Abhi and Tholkappin charged the for murder.   Thols comes to the police station to give the news that he saw Upendra but he missed him. He has to be found Police officer says he is tracking him.   He is called by the Police chief where Aditya starts shouting
at him that Abhi and Thols should be put behind bars. He politely tells Adiitya that he is doing his duty. He comes out and finds. Thols still around He cautions him about Aditya's plans and that Upendra should be found by Thols and himself or else they will twist the case against them.     Ganga and Upendra catch up on their stories Ganga was Upendra's dance student in Calcutta.   He wanted to find out Ranjani's murderer.  He wanted to go abroad as  a dance teacher. He wanted a place to live and a passport to leave the country  Ganga takes him home and makes her father agree to rent the out house till he finds a place.

SELVI

Tamarai questions Selvi's mother if she has no self respect begging for money from her father. She starts abusing Selvi for taking away her husband and now looting her parents. Selvi's father, and younger brother point out how all of them were instrumental in performing that marriage and now  have forgotten  her sacrifices. Tamarai drags Selvi's mother to the car and comes to Selvi's house Selvi comes out and tries to stop her  outbursts.  Tamarai behaves in the meanest manner.  She  said she can ask for money to buy poison to kill herself and her child.  Selvi loses her temper and told her when she(Tamarai) was living a life like a corpse she attended to her and kept penance for her and she now talks in this manner. She can outbeat her in this quarrel. It is time that Tamarai learnt a few lessons, and orders her to get out of the house. GJ comes home and finds Selvi in a sad mood. Asks the mother the reason -  the mother says he ought to have prevented her from going to their house. This statement revealed his participation in this incident She tells him she will go out and earn and support the family. GJ says he will get back the two crores given to Dilipan. Selvi cuts short his argument saying that is also Tamarai's money. GJ consoles the mother saying  he will  pacify her.

PENN

Bharani is talking with his wife. She suggests that his brother Karthik be married. He knows this is because grandfather has promised to divide his property between the two grandsons once both are married. They pick a bunch of prospective brides, and show the photos to the grandfather. He immediately calls Ranga to look at them. She does, and spots Deepa (now resigned/resolved to stay put). She realizes she would like to have her as a daughter in law. Shares this thought with Kala. Kala asks her, how do you know she is not already married, and recounts Deepa's reaction to a strange man (Manohar) at the hospital when the girl had cut her finger.  Kala approaches Deepa, who is flattered, shocked and aghast. Mohini is scanning doctors.

April 24

ANANDAM
Rajeshwar's brothers visits her. She is happy that Madan and Rohini are with them. She hopes Shanthi and Kartik will also be together. He tells her Anita is creating some problems. She wants Arjun to marry again so that he can have a child of his own. He hopes they can stop this happening. RK calls the whole family. Anita says she is determined to make Arjun marry again. Madan Rohini and RK try to reason out with her. Arjun arrives He is terribly angry with Anita . He declares his love for her and he will never agree with her proposal. She wants to save him from the remarks that he faces in society. Arjun loses his temper and gives her a slap. Asks RK's pardon for it. He says she can come home if she stops this argument or else she can live with her parents. Anita goes home with him. Kanduvaddi is thrilled to find out from his people in Tirupur that Ramakrishnan has no relatives in that town Kanduvaddi comes to the conclusion that this is Sreenivasan's trick on them. Kanduvaddi wants to find out Govindan as he must be around because his wife is in this area.

MALARGAL

Pandian's wife appeals to Ashok to stop doing evil deeds with her husband. She asks him to go his way and reform his life. Pandian comes and hits his wife for trying to separate the brothers. Tulasi and Sivagami come to the cancer hospital to see Meenakshi. They are shocked to hear that the child is suffering from cancer. Gounder leaves for the police station to see about Bhasker's release on bail. Meenakshi wakes up and asks why they are crying. She says she will be well soon. She relates the dream she had just now. In the dream Tulasi delivers a girl baby and the baby is beautiful. At Ramesh's house the wedding video is delivered to them. The uncle wants to drive him away as they don't want to see it. Moreover it is the Gounder family 's mischeif to send the video. Sharada insists to see it. She is happy to see her husband in happy spirits. When the uncle wants to stop the video Sharada scolds him saying soon he will object to her talking about her husband. She wants to see it just then. Vidya appears in the video and Sharada flares up cursing the girl. Uncle and aunt are happy that their plan is working: soon their daughter will be Ramesh's wife. Mallika and her father arrive asking to see Sharada .They plead that one word from her can make Bhasker come out on bail. They insist his loyalty to his boss's family. They are driven out. Ramesh comes to Vidya's house to see Vidya. Revathy comes out and welcomes him. She calls Vidya who is surprised to see him.

KOLANGAL

Mahesh and Anandi come to see Kartik. Just then nadaswaram music is heard. Kartik becomes alert. Mahesh asks her to go and talk to him. As she calls out his name he starts saying Anandi. The music started again. He becomes a little alert and gets up and walks with out Mahesh's assistance. Ramesh is told the story of the marriage and how it was stopped. Mahesh says it is advisable to admit him in a mental asylum where medication and monitoring will show some improvement. Anandi is sad. Bhasker has some visitors. The couple who had chosen. Bhasker's sister for their son come visiting. They offered condolences and offered to pay back the money they had taken. Alamelu intervenes and says the marriage can take place as their daughter in law Abhi has lots of money, and she is there to help. The could leave. Bhasker is asked by his mother to act as if he is grateful to her and get this wedding performed. Bhasker's objections are brushed aside. Thols find Upendra and gives him a chase. Upendra escapes and comes near the open van and gets in. Ganga who is by the van recognises him and the van leaves.

SELVI
Ranjani is requested by Tamarai to shift back to the big family house. Satya who has taken an agency wants to
shift to a a smaller house and be independent. Ranjani wants to grab this oppurtunity to take control of Tamarai's home. Selvi's mother goes to Tamarai's parents house and pleads for help because GJ has been cut off from funds. The father gives her money, brushing away his wife's objections. She reminds her of the help Selvi had rendered. As she is leaving Vishwa and Tamarai arrive. Seeing the money in her hands say harsh words. The father intervenes.

PENN

Mohini follows the nurse (from the hospital, who has secretly found her way to Mohini, after seeing the doctor turn down her request) to a back-alley house where abortions are performed. She is turned off by the scene. Much joy and swaying to music at Kadambam, as a result of speakers being installed and music being piped -- one more run to Deepa's score of 30 not out. Kailash ribs Kasi about Kala. Kasi gets all agitated and leaves to get his drink. In Manohar's room, he is asleep when the phone rings. It is Deepa, she laughs and teases him. He doesn't know who it is -- she says, you've destroyed so many people -- think hard. He says, don't threaten me long distance -- come and stand before me. She says, I am before you -- look in front. He does, and discovers Deepa's photo on the wall. He is terrified. There was a Murugan photo there yesterday, put by Sivadhanu. He yells for Sivadhanu, who shows up. He tells him this girl was called Anjali, and she was dead. Sivadhanu's advice -- wear that amulet.

ANANDAM 21st April

Kanduvaddi people regret missing Govindan's wife in the crowd. An ambulance with siren enters Abhirami's house gate. Abhirami is surprised to see a doctor and nurse enter her house. The doctor asks for Abhirami. She says she is Abhirami the doctor wants to examine her as she has high blood pressure, which will lead to serious problems. She says she didn't call the doctor. I did, says Shanthi, entering the hall, and continues to say she wants to put an end to all her farces. She will not rest till she brings back her in laws back to their house. Abhirami calls Sreenivasan for advice. He promptly blames her for all the childish pranks she attempted. He tells her to control Ramya, who is in their camp. He reveals his master plan to sell the house to a promoter and construct apartments and sell them. She approves of the idea. At RK's house, RK, Shanthi, Madan and Rohini are busy looking into the business accounts. Everybody is hungry, and Rajeshwari is busy with the children. Kartik orders for pizzas for everyone. As everyone is assembled at the table he hands a plate with pizza to Shanthi first. This gesture brings much happiness to one and all.

MALARGAL
Saraswathi leaves the house and Tulasi breaks down sobbing. She relates her story to her mother and the ultimatum given to her about Shanmukam's second marriage. Her mother consoles her but asks not to reveal it to her father now, as he cannot take any more problems. Kadir goes to Ramesh's house to offer his condolencesto the family. The aunt, coming to know that he is from Nachiarkulam, asks why he didnt warn Ramesh about Gounder family. Sharada asks her stop talking in that way. He and Ramesh have a heart to heart talk. Ramesh expresses his feelings for Vidya and how he hopes to console his mother and bring his wife home. He asks Kadir if he knows who is Gownder's enemy in that town. Kadir says he is believed to be the enemy but he didn't do anything. Ramesh asks if he could accompany him so that he can meet his wife.

KOLANGAL
Anandi meets the nurse looking after Kartik and is happy to note all is well. Mahesh comes to see Kartik. Kartik is trying to strangle the nurse as these two people enter the room. Mahesh overpowers Kartik and releases the nurse. She wants to quit the job he finds out that the nurse was talking to her people about some family problem. She told them Anandi has to be given a beating for her behavior. Kartik rushed to her and started strangling her Mahesh tells Anandi that Kartik is a dangerous patient. His mind has just one name - Anandi - and any harm to that name triggers this reaction. He does not recognise the real Anandi but the name only. Rekha and her father have a visitor: Arjun . He blames Rekha for causing problems to their family Her marriage to Aditya did not take place. She should never come to their house and break up Aditya's marriage. The minister is upset that once again Abhi has defeated him. Rekha consoles him she will get a bigger project. Ganga is terribly upset by Abhi's visit to Mumbai to meet Rajamani madam her friend kindles her jealousy more by pointing her mentor has left her as subordinate to Abhi.

SELVI

Maya tells Amar that Puja suspects him Govindan enters and asks Andavan afew harsh questions. Surprised at this fellows questions GJ enters and asks what they meant behaving in this manner. He rushes to hit Andavan there is a tussle and Maya tries to talk to GJ. He pushes her aside. Andavan says he doesnt deal with dead snakes meaning Tamarai has divorced him and he is powerless. Selvi has tears in her eyes. She thinks about all the harsh things said by Tamarai. She wonders of friendship and the of meaning of friendship. If only Tamarai would listen to the Maya wedding episode and the harm to the family she would understand. Her mother consoles her. Soon she is her old confident self. Dilipan calls and Madhu picks up andputs the phone down, and says nasty things about Dilipan. Dilipan and Niranjan are talking about Selvi and her problems. Shivamani hearing the conversation calls out to him as Priyan. Niranjan and Dilipan are shocked but manage to cover it up. Later Sivamani says his manner of speaking and his interest in Selvi's reminded her of Priyan.

PENN
Badri hands over a pay envelope to Deepa, for her hard and productive work during this month. She realizes how quickly a month has passed. She packs her bags and is getting set to leave, as she had agreed. Now Ranga accosts her and says she is abandoning their friendship. She insists she will no longer attempt suicide, and that she has gained enough confidence in the one month to live. But Ranga is furious that she would even consider leaving. Finally, Deepa (after Ranga has departed in a huff) decides to stay (it appears).

MALARGAL     
Sraswathi comes back with athe keys She is ina terrible temper She accuses the sambandis as speaking ill of them the moment they left She fought with them and came back Her husband brother knowing her short temper ask her to stop Mallika and her father go to the police station and see Bhasker When asked if any of the family had come and finding none had come her anger rises The father says he will consult a lawyer    He decies to go to Ramesh's house to appeal to them to clear him       Murthy tells his father that Kadir is behind all this Gounder refutes him Kadir is not a man to do something like this Mutrhy is angry with his father for ruling out Kadir murthy meets Karpagam 's aunt and uncle at the hotel They go and see and console Karpagam Murthy goes to see a lawtyer and force him to find the cook who is responsible for everything.             

KOLANGAL        
Ganga  asks Abhi  why she doesnt show any exuberance at their and she stays cool in adversties.   What is the secret she asks. Ganga asks her what is her strength.  Abhi says it is her family and good friends that are her strength. Aditya comes to Abhi construction site and asks for Abhi Thols informs that she has gone to Mumbai on work This news aggravates his anger and curses the whole groupe He says he hates if his enemy wins and he hates to lose Thols sermonises about success  and failure being part of business Aditya blames Usha for this debacle. Anandi  considers it a joke when her mother mentions Mano is in love with a girl. She is happy he has grown up. Usha's parents dont approve Usha's decision to come back to them. They advice patience. Arjun comes and persuades her to return home. He promises who is the person behind the tender news leakage.   

SELVI   
Selvi asks her mother to look after her child as she has to go and do some work and get some money for the family. Her mother tells her to request Dilipan to give GJ a good job abroad where she can have a life and send money for them. Selvi say GJ is Tamarai's husband and she will bring up her child and show the world she can do it.    Puja is in a depressed mood Ranjani hears about the abductor being in the office and Amar taking it casually. Puja suspects either the abductor has a friend in the office or he known to Amar. Ranjani is shocked.   Maya who is in the house hears the whole conversation rushes home   to alert Amar.  Tamarai and Aishwarya are in a restaurant.  The chils remembers the good times when dad and Sachin used to be with them. Tamarai is upset and angry and starts beating Aishwarya. Selvi who enters and finding Tamarai comes and protects the child. Tamarai turns her anger against Selvi accusing her of stealing her husband and now ready to snatch  her daughter. She says that she has good people to take care of her business. Selvi tries to talk to her but she rebuffs the attempt. Dilipan enters and tries to bring some peace but Tamarai leaves.   Amar is angry with his father's idea of fixing  Maya's marriage with Dilipan. Maya enters and announces that Puja suspects him of being an accomplice in the rape case.

PENN
Uma tries to convince her daughter not to get rid of her baby. Finally she threatens her that she will give her no help in life is she does so. Deepa does another management coup by suggesting that a woman who is disturbed by the talking wear a Walkman. It works -- her productivity is way high.

April 19

ANANDAM        19th April
Sreenivasan asks Abhirami to tell her sister to mend her ways. Rajeshwari's visit had upset him Abhirami comes to Ramya's house with fruits and sweets and flowers and asks her about Rajeshwari's visit. Ramya talks with love and affection and tells her that as she is now going to be a mother, it  has made her realise the value of the family and the good wishes of everyone.  She needs people She asks her sister to understand that. Govindan roaming the streets rests in a building construction site finds a workerr's family
cooking and eating with great joy He compares it to his condition of having money but the family is not only missing but also impoverished,   Kandu vaddi is in a very worried mood His comrades suggest that he should find out about Ramarishnan's relatives from Tirupur,  as Tirupur is also his hometown. He calls his people to  investigate and let him know about them. Madan is conducting interviiews for his company.   Abhirami appears as a candidate Madan gets angry and asks her to get out. She insists that she is more qualified than Shanthi and she can also look after him Madan asks her to get out.

MALARGAL
Saraswathi her husband and brother  come to offer condolence. After the usual expression of sorrow asks to see Vidya. She speaks kind words and reassures her of better days ahead. She calls Tulasi aside and  regrets for all the mistakes  and asks her to come home after her parents recover a little. She says she needs a grandchild and Shanmukam also pines for a child, so when she comes home they can decide about a second marriage for her son. Tulasi is shocked.  As they leave, Pandian and his wife come and in his style he says harsh words cursing the family more. They were driven out.   Gounder's wife becomes agitated and says who asked these people 's condolences, after all the harm they have done to them. Saraswathi who reentersto pick up her keys takes as the insult to her family, and starts her usual warlike attitud. Any explanation that it was said against falls on deaf ears. On reaching home Pandian has a visitor,  Pitchandi.  He promptly takes him to a room and asks him to never come to his house as the police is after him. Pichandi asks for money as promised Pandian fights back saying he killed the wrong person and hence no money. The cook gets angry but was  made to leave saying the money will reach him.

KOLANGAL     
Ganga and Abhi are in their office Ganga says they have to submit the tender today for the new project Abhi is hesitant but Ganga had everything ready so Abhi says yes. Arti comes with Thols and Abhi asks her to come and help out and she will be paid by Abhi. Ganga finds out about Art'is experiience and promptly appoints her. At the tender opening meeting Rekha, her father and Aditya arrive.   There were only two tenders. The chairman waited a little   and in walk Abhi and Ganga.  The whole atmosphere changes. Aditya getting all puffed up in anger. The tenders are opened.  After scrutiny Chairman declares Abhi construction as the winners. The Rekha group goes out in anger. Aditya couldn't believe it. Rekha points out as he did all the work in his laptop. Usha must have leaked the figure to Abhi. He comes home and starts beating Usha. She tells him she never enters the bed room how could she have done it.   Ravi his brother tries to intervene but Usha decides to leave.

SELVI        318
GJ is in a very depressed mood. Mother in law comes out with a list of problems. He assures her he will give her the money as soon has he gets it. Selvi points out that instead of counting all the wrongs done to him think about he should think of what is to be  done.  GJ calls Govindan and asks how he didnt even call. He needs money.  Govindan tells him if his plan works, GJ will be back in his post. He gives money to a goonda He promptly goes in to Amar's office. Amar gives him a big wad of currency  and asks him to go. Puja who was coming spots the tough guy she recognises as her abductor. She chases him and he enters Amar's office and Amar hides him under the table .Puja enters and tells him she saw the man who abducted her enter the room. He pacifies her. She insists that he should be caught.

PENN
Kala brings her employee's drinking husband into Kadambam Food Products and gives him a job.Mohini visits a doctor and tells her she wants an abortion. The doctor advises against it. She is adamant. Doctor calls her mother and lets her know. Much excitement in Senthil household about arrival of new baby. Chitra steals Bharani's money and is ready to pay the nurse for her mother's operation. They  agree to meet in the same place as usual.

April 18

ANANDAM 18th April
Kandu Vaddi reminds Ahirami that the deed was done for her. He tells her that he will not spoil her name and also mentions that if Srinivasan is a problem he will not be spared. Saroja is happy to welcome who arrives ans blesses Ramya and has some buttermilk. The conversation veers round Abhirami and Ramya feels she could not do anything to improve the situation Rajeshwari expresses her opinion that Saroja ought to stay in her husband's place as her presence will restrain her husband from doing more harm. Sreenivasan who had come to the door of the house to get the signature of his son overhears the conversation and leaves. He goes to Abhirami in anger and says he will forge the signaturre. As Kanduvaddi is looking into his accounts he gets a call from the police station. He goes to the police station Ramakrishnan's relatives had lodged a complaint and he answers all the querries and tells the police officer that Ramakrishnan was a lone man roaming the streets. He took pity on him how come relatives have sprung up . He is now asked to go now and come whenever called.

MALARGAL
At the cancer hospital Karpagam is weeping how a poor family like theirs will find the money for the costly treatment. Murthy pacifies her and pays the money for treatment in the general ward. Mallika reaches her parents house and asks the father to go and get her husband out of jail. The father scolds her for coming away from the family. He points out Gounder and the elder son will never neglect Bhasker. Mallika says they hate him for his part in the tragedy. Ramesh's uncle comes and announces Bhasker's arrest as he is the culprit. Ramesh asks if they had arrested on suspicion. The uncle also mentions all the irregularities in the accounts at the shop Ganesh feels Gounder family is hounded by the uncle. He goes to Ramesh and tells him to do something for that family as they are facing innumerable problems Ramesh assures him he will do so. Ravi and Ashok are jubilant that Bhasker is behind bars and the cook had done his job perfectly.

KOLANGAL
Shanthi is angry with Thols fer going with Ganga to see her off. Thols tells her that late at night it is risky for a woman to go out on the streets. She accuses him of being indifferent to all the insults heaped on him. He tells her Ganga has met a lot of problems in life which have made
her behave like this. Moreover if you like someone you don't get angry with them. Mahesh is examining Kartik. He calls out his name several times He asks whom does he love what is his happiest memory and so on. Kartik opens his eyes and is shown a photograph. With difficulty he focuses his eyes. He starts to say something. With difficulty says Anandi. Mahesh tells Anandi his mind is like a blank paper with only Anandi there. He tells her she should come and see him regularly. He appoints a nurse and finds a nursing home like place. Anandi requests Mahesh not to mention Kartik's treatment to her family. Anandi asks Bharathi the news that he wanted to tell her. Bharathi says circumstances have changed. Abhi, her mother and aunt are leaving for home. Bhasker asks for five minutes with Abhi. He says when she goes out there will be darkness around him. He requests her to stay one more day. He wishes her well in her new life. Abhi agrees. She asks her mother and aunt to go home and she would come the next morning. A call from the office for Abhi and starts and tells Bhaskar she will come back.

SELVI
Selvi hears his version from Dilipan. He mentions that her welfare and that of her child are of great concern for him. This brings tears to her eyes. GJ goes to the bank to withdraw money. He finds all the accounts have little money. He comes back to his car and finds a ladies hand bang with wads of currency. He gets into the car and puts the bag on the seat. Maya is in the car. She tells him to take the money. He says he was taking it to the police station. She leaves with the hand bag. Dilipan goes to meet Andavan. The whole group along with Maya's father are there. Dilipan says he has to leave for London as his father is arranging a marriage for him. Andavan says what is to happen to the business? Dilipan says he wants to marry girl from India. Andavan's brain works fast. He calls Douglas aside and says Maya will be ideal. Dilipan has a flash back of all the things that happened to him comes back Maya is introduced as the Mahalakshmi.

PENN
Mohini manages to make everyone feel guilty. Her mother in law pointed out that she doesn't seem to be wearing the gold bangles she had given her. Mohini says she was praying for children at the temple, and decided to put the bangles in the hundi when she discovered she was pregnant. Kasi reveals to his son that he had spoilt Kala's life long ago, which, he says darkly, was the reason she never married. Son Kailash is really intrigued.

ANANDAM         17th April            

Shanthi enters RK's office as he is giving instructions to his staff. She discusses security arrangements for the staff, especially women  as they work late into the night . RK okays her plans. RK gets a call from Dr. Mathews  a cancer specialist from the US who wants visit various places in India. He  requests RK help to organise it for him. Kanduvaddi has two persons from Tirupur to see him. They had come to take Ramakrishnan to their town for a religious function  When they were told of his suicide they are shocked They say it can not be true as he had come out of grief and managed after his wife and child's death   They doubt foul play and they intend going to the police Kanduvaddi comes and gives this information personally  Abhirami gets angry why she should be bothered Kanduvaddi promptly reminds her part in it   the family meet s to tackle the latest act of Abhirami  Rajeshwari says that only can put a stop to Abhiraami's  taunts.  Kartik says if Shanthi comes and lives in their house  it will stop Shanthi is pleasantly shocked.     Saroja meets Rajeshwari at the temple and invites her to visit and bless her daughter in law.
           

MALAR        
Vidya faints hearing all the harsh things spoken by Darshini. Gounder is sought out and informed of Bhasker's arrest. In the meantime
Gounder's granddaughter becomes unconscious.     They rush the child to the cancer hospital and the parents are shocked of this new revelation. Kadir seeks anticipatory bail as he is known as the enemy of Gounder.  Murthy  is sure he is the person behind the poisoning He goes to find a lawyer to bring Bhasker out  .   Ramesh his brother uncle and aunt  go the shop  Garland the picture of their father. Sharada in tears asks the workers to cooperate with the uncle till Ramesh is ready to take over. She gives the keys to the uncle                    

KOLANGAL       
Anandi takes responsibility of Kartik's treatment. Bharathi says this emotional action has practical difficulties. Anandi brushes aside the advice and goes through the formalities and takes Kartik with her with Bharath's help.  Thols had given Vasuki seven thousand five hundred rupees for her fees.    Ganga is upset at Thols's action.   That night at two o'clock she knocks.  Thols's door and thrusts the money to him. When asked what was the hurry as it was past  midnight. She implies that he  must be expecting some favour.  Thols is shocked at her way of thinking.     A lodge of ill fame is raided by the police. Upendra who happens to be in one room. The police officer recognises the man, but he is beaten and locked in the room by Upendra  who escapes.         

SELVI     
Kathan gives a few blows to Govindan and Govindan leaves The rest of the staff are asked to leave their jobs The Andavan group comes home in triumph.  Maya is there to enjoy the scene. Andavan wants Selvi to be impoverished begging for food on the streets.    Niranjan and Dilipan are discussing Niranjan wants to reveal the identity of Dilipan. Dilipan says it must wait as Andavan has to be dealt with. They see Selvi approaching.   Dilipan is asked go in and hide. Selvi comes and pours out her heart to Niranjan. She says everyone she trusted has deserted her.  She could take it but the treachery of Dilipan is what has upset her the most. He could have carried on the business with GJ. He joins with those vultures. Niranjan says he wants to tell her something. Dilipan comes out and asks for her pardon. He did what he did to be with Andavan and bring him down. He asks her to believe him.  Selvi Keeps this information to herself. Dilipan goes to Selvi's house to meet GJ and Selvi. The mother stops him and curses him. Selvi intervenes and asks him not to mind her words as she she is shaken by all the events.

PENN
Vijay tells Ranga and Kala that it was not Badri, but that he was unsuccessful in finding who it was. Uma is relieved. Manohar wakes up in the middle of the night and discovers a saree hanging from the fan. He is terrified. When he returns to the room it is no longer there. He informs Sivadhanu, who returns from the village with some amulets to ward off the evil spirits, about it. Sivadhanu is gratified to find his master also convinced there was a spirit. But Manohar soon begins scoffing at Sivadhanu again, and refuses to wear the amulet offered by Sivadhanu. Deepa, wearing a red saree that looks suspiciously like the saree hanging in Mahoar's room, informs Ranga that things are going very well.

Hostile Takeover in Selvi

ANANDAM          14th April
Madan and Rohini leave for work after Rajeshwari assures them that the child will be fine with her home remedies.  Abhirami is with the doctor for a check up. He asks her to have no tensions as her bloodpressure is high. She laments that singlehandedly she has to manage a huge business. Doctor asks her to do meditation and yoga. He says Rk who had  high blood pressure earlier is now absolutely fine after his Ashram stay. The phone rings and Rohini is on the line. She tells him   her child' is slightly unwell and he should go when her mother in law calls him.. Abhirami overhears this coversation an ambulance with a doctor and nurse in attendence arrives at RK's residence to treat the baby. Rajeshwari says there is no need for any teratment as the baby is well and he is sleeping. She says she did not call any doctor. Abhirami comes in and announces she brought the doctor. The whole groupe is asked to leave. She tells Abhirami   that her arrogance and high handedness are all a cover as she is really a beggarbegging for Madan. She has no gratitude to people who have helped her.  Ghani and Arjun discuss about the possiblity of Govindan's wife working somewhere,  which means she has not met her husband.

MALARGAL episode127
Darshini terrorises Vidya that she is hated by Ramesh and she should not call again. Tulasi finds Vidya weeping and assures her Ramesh will surely come as he himself had told her. She speaks of the role women  as new brides face. It is more difficult in a house where they dont have a girl of their own.  She has the same problem. They don't understand how a girl feels in her new  home. It is bearable when the husband is understanding. Sharada, her mother in law is the cause of her problem.  Police arrives at Gounder's
 home. They question Bhasker about the events that morning. He tells them his master loved him and he would never harm him. They take Bhasker away for interrogation. Murthy begged them to wait till the father comes, but they refuse and take Bhasker away. Mallika  is now angry no body stopped the police taking away her husband. She hurriedly packs a bag and leaves the house. Shiva goes in search of his father.

KOLANGAL
Bharath's father wants his son to marry.  His mother also is very eager to find a bride. They ask him if he has anybody in mind. In the end they find out about Anandi and they are pleased Manohar and Anu have along coversation over the phone. Rajendran hears the whole story, asks him who was on the phone, he understands there is a girl in his life. He promises to tell his sister. The minister comes to Aditya and Rekha flaunting all the papers needed for their new business. Aditya is surprised at the speed with which everything has been done,   and the miniter tells him that if could not do this what is the meaning of being a politician.   Anandi and Bharathi visit the mental assylum. The cheif man explains how he has a dedicated groupe with him. He says if they do a write up he will get more funds and he can do a lot. Just then one patient is who  a difficult case from Chennai is beaten and the chief stops it saying it is agaist his principle. He tells them this patient. Kartik  is from a well to do family suffering severe depression and the family is away abroad. Anandi goes   near and sees her friend Kartik. He is ithe same  Kartik whose marriage with her  didn't take place. He is unrecognisable -- in a pitiable form. She cries seeing him in that state

SELVI   episode 315
Selvi's mother has a sheaf of currency notes from a couple and she is promising that the job is assured for their son. GJ  enters  in a very agitated  mood -- he cries out he has been thrown out from his post as chief of the oil business. Selvi comes down hearing the commotion. He promptly directs his anger at her saying it is  her fierce attack of Andavan that has caused this Selvi points out she spoke about the cell business and not this oil business. The mother intervenes and asks why he didn't put up a stand there. Why is he shouting at them? Again he blames Selvi for everything and says he hated to come to this house.   Do you all want me to go and beg Andavan?  

Tamarai is creating havoc. Tamarai is in a fix what she should do regarding the business. Ranjani pities her. Puja says she should not have done this. Tamarai gets angry at this remark. Amar comes in and cries. He is sad his sister has thrown out the man who knew the intricacies of that busines. He is sad that Akka has no experience in running a business. Tamarai in a contemptous way says that Selvi knows how to run a business.  Amar says though a business graduate from Harvard he is still a novice at business. He suggests they should call for candidates and select someone. Tamarai comes out with a snap decision and appoints him chief, saying he is ths best one.  She gives him all the powers. Andavan accompanied by Amar and Kathan come to the office calls everyone and announces Amar as their boss.   They enter Govindan's office and ask him to bring all the ledgers to the chief's room. Govindan puts up a last ditch battle. He refuses to recognise them. Kathan administers his tactics and Govidan  accepts defeat. Amar is  seated in GJs chair.   Andavan says the next item in the agenda is Dilipan.

PENN
Vijay brings the false labels home. He places them in a cupboard in his room, the returns shortly to his room to discover them missing. Since there are only three people in the house -- himself, and his two parents, he immediately suspects his mother, whom he saw come upstairs (where his room is). He then hunts around the house, and discovers them hidden under his mother's bed in her room. He charges her with being behind the false product sales. She cries, saying Kadambam Food Products is like her baby, how could she ever do this? Then she reminds him that another person also uses her bedroom. Then it dawns on Vijay. He sets a trap for his father, dropping a few food product labels. Muthukumar comes in, and stealthily picks up the labels, proving he knows what they are, and is the one behind the duplicate sales. When Vijay confronts him, Muthukumar whispers that it is his mother who is behind it. She is listening around the corner, crying. They both know it is his father. Vijay is ready to go to the police station and get his father arrested. His mother prevails on him, by emotion and threat, not to do so.

Happy New Year

SELVI
Maya is describing to Andavan and Co. how Selvi struggled to speak to Tamarai, and how Tamarai had not only shut the car doors but also her ears. Part of Selvi's dialogue, "If only you knew about the people around you now..." Maya is enjoying herself. Andavan gets serious. He says, Selvi is bold and purposeful. She is also right. Our ploy will only work as long as we are around Tamarai. How can we make sure no one else is able to get close to Tamarai? He says he will begin by cutting off Selvi's means of income and get her to the street. He picks up the phone and spreads a rumor among GJ's oil distributros that the company is sinking. They all show up the following day, demanding to know what's going on. GJ reassures them. One of them raises the issue of GJ's divorce. He says Tamarai has nothing to do with the company, and looks up to see Tamarai standing in the room. He is stunned (Maya has orchestrated it by making Tamarai reach the office). She insults and dismisses GJ, with the support of the distributors. After persuading him to leave, his sidekick welcomes Tamarai, indicating that he will suck up to her from now on.

PENN
Mohini is pregnant. Much excitement. Her mother in law calls her mother, Uma, but it is actually Mohini she reaches, and Mohini, imitating her mother, conveys remarkably subdued enthusiasm. Mother in law surprised by response. Kailash and father eating at the roadside stall. Kailash is teased by the young daughter of the owner, but he is dreaming of Deepa. Muthukumar is still trying to track down Ramana Department Stores in Purasaiwakam. He has sought the assistance of one of the computer guys at Kadambam, who is doing a computer lookup of Kadambam distributors for him. Chitra walks in, and discovering what's going on, insturcts the computer guy that Muthukumar is not an employee of the company, and should not be given any information.

Divorce Proceedings in Selvi

ANANDAM 11th April              

Rohini sees Abhirami entering her office(bank).   She goes into the Manager's room and is there talking to him Rohini becomes nervous. RK hears about Abhirami's effort to take the baby and her scaring. Rohini that she will take the baby and Madan from her. He asks Madan and Rohini to move in with them so that they can be safe. Rohini agrees but Madan says he does not want Abhirami to feel that her threats are  successful. There is a call and Madan picks up the phone. Thinking that it is Rohini on the line Abhirami starts her usual tirade. Madan cuts the call He decides to take his father's advice RK and Rajeshwari are happy. Kartik too is happy and they all hope Shanthi will also be there.
                 

MALARGAL  11th April              

Shanmukam pleads with Gounder to control his anger. Ramesh breaks down and says he is guilty that he disobeyed his father when he entreated him to come to the shop so he cannot go now. Sharada requests the uncle to take care of the shop. That being the plan of the uncle and aunt,  he jumps at the offer.
   

KOLANGAL                                                
After introduction the business proposition is put before Ganga. She should create problems for Abhi, confuse issues and wreck her projects .The fee is fifteen lakhs      Narasimhan and Aditya have a pleased look thinking she will grab the offer. She thinks for a moment and says she is not ready to do it. Aditya offers to increase the amount to satisfy her. Ganga says money is not everything for her. She has some priciples. Narasimhan intervenes and tells her that she is after all a PA to Abhi. What is there for her Ganga  agrees that she is a PA now but she  can become another Abhi soon. Her mentor is there for her. Aditya leaves in a huff. Ganga also leaves but comes back and asks Narasimhan about his daughter Kamini. She tells him she has not gone on an educational tour but to Mahabalipuram with a boyfriend. The room no is  this. You spoke about a room for us instead book one for your daughter. She tells him not only did he mess up the chess game he has messed up this meeting also. Upendra is released from jail. The jail superintendent who was kind to Upendra  advises him to devote his energy to dance and art and lead a good life and become famous. Upendra thanks him but refuses to follow the advice.  He goes into a wooded place and calls out to Valliappa. A sturdy youth comes and hands him a revolver and asks for money he gives the money but as he was collecting the money focusses the revover at his head. Then laughs and says it was a joke. He shouts that he is out to kill Bhasker.  Ranjani's killer Vasuki asks her father for her college fees. The father refuses to give saying she rejected a good marriage offer that he planned for her, and now he refuses to give money. Ganga enters and tells her sister that she promised to give and she will give her the amount Mahesh comes to Abhi's house to offer his condolences and consoles Abhi as she was close to the deceased Narayanan  Anandi tells him her mother and Abhi have not yet returnned from that house. Mahesh leaves. Rajendran is wild with anger with his sister and Abhi for overstaying in that house. He says they have lost a sense of balance staying on as though they are our friends. Anandi is disgusted.

SELVI      
At Selvi's house Madhu and Prabhanchan are having a fight about watching TV.   Madhu has resigned her job and she is in a foul mood mother tries to silence them, when Selvi enters and asks them to be quiet as the baby is sleeping. Madhu starts her ranting saying people come and stay on with the family not bothering if they are welcome or not. Mother intervenes and reminds her how Selvi had slogged for them. Selvi says what she says is correct in a sense. GJ and Selvi arrive at the family court for the divorce case. Tamarai and Maya were there already. Tamarai stares at Selvi and GJ. The judge arrives. The judge asks Tamarai, being a mother of two children, has she considered all aspects before asking for divorce? Tamarai says she has been cheated and she wants a divorce immediately. She is told it takes time and the other party should be given a chance to put foward their case. Tamarai becomes hysterical and wants the divorce now. When she was sick he married in a hurry and she wants nothing to do with him.   He has asked for time and so the case is postponed to a further date. Tamarai and Maya leave hurriedly Selvi runs after Tamarai. GJ tries to stop her. Selvi feels that this is the last poppurtunity to speak to her.    She goes near the car Tamarai had got in and shut the door.     Selvi goes near the window tapping the glass asks for five minutes  She wants to tell her what happened .Maya tells Selvi she will listen only to her words. Selvi gives her a scathing reply. Tamarai refuses even to look ar Selvi but she tried to tell her people around her were her enemies.  Maya says there is one way Tamarai will talk with her  She should go to her as plain Selvi without the thali and the child. Selvi flares up. Who are you to say this If I do that what is the identity of my child?

PENN
 Chitra catches Muthukumar following him, and gives him a stern warning never to do it again. Later, Muthukumar brings his servant lady and her son, who wanted Rs. 500 for the son's education. He persuades Ranga to give Rs. 10000, and outside, pockets all except Rs. 500 himself. Solai has called Mohini over to collect money for her cab usage. It comes to Rs. 47000. He refuses to accept her promise that when her father in law's CD matures in a month, she would repay him. He says, this is business. She slides off her gold bangle and gives it to him. Brief scene of dalliance between Kailash and the idli lady's daughter.

April 10

ANANDAM    (10 April)
Rajeshwari gets angry with Abhirami and tells her  that her fall is coming soon, and leaves. Sreenivasan is waiting impatiently at Abhirami's office. She enters and they both gloat over Shanthi's fate.  He gives the news that Shanthi had vowed to return to the family fold when they get back their original home.  They both connect this visit of Rajeshwari to that vow.  RK observes Shanthi going about her new assignment with great pleasure. He expresses his satisfaction. Anita and her sevant maid are buying vegetables. She introduces the new maid to the shopkeeper that hereafter she will do her veg shopping and goes out for some errand. Ghani the police sofficer is also in the next shop along with his wife. He recognises rhe woman to be Govindan's wife. Govindan, searching for his wife, comes to Abhirami's house. He is told by the watchman that she left some time back. Govindan enquires if a woman and her son come to meet Nallaan. When he hears the story that they had come asking for Nallaan and  they needed a job in this city, Govindan breaks down that while he has the money they are poor and hungry. Rohini goes inside the kitchen to fetch milk for the baby. When she comes back the child is missing. Finds the child in Abhirami's hands.   Abhirami warns her soon Madan will leave her and she will lose the baby too.                      

MALARGAL  (Episode126)   
Gounder chases Bhasker out of the house. Shanmukam controls him and gives some sane advice. He says Vidya's life in the new home should be their goal now. If Ramesh's people come to know of this developement the whole blame will be shifted to their family, and there can be no reconciliation. We all have to deal with this in a careful way.  Shanmukam asks the astrologer  not to gossip about the happenings out in the village.  Police get the post mortem report of poison in the dead man's body. They come to Ramesh's house to find out. Ramesh says it was his cup of coffee his father drank as it had gone cold so he was the person targetted. Police officer asks if they had  any enemies.  He is told the father was a genial man and he had no enemies. Policeman asks if there is somebody known to them wanting to stop the marriage. Sundari and her husband are nervous.  Pichandi the cook comes to the police station. He sees a suspect being beaten up and fears his fate.  The police officer asks pointed questions and the cook gave straight answers.   Bhasker tasted the coffee  and took and what might have hapened after he took  he doesnot know. Police allow him to go but that he should come   when called.  One policeman is assigned to watch Pichandi's movements. The cook informs of his interrogation to Pandian.  He is told to insist on Bhasker theory.        

KOLANAGAL     
In Bhasker's house nobody wants to eat. Sharada tries to make them eat. Ganga calls Abhi and offers condolence and asks her if she is coming to office. Abhi says she is coming. Anu meets Manohar and asks him to do something as they are arranging for her marriage. He asks her to wait till Abhi and others come home. At Aditya's place he announces his intention to enter into partnership in business with Devi's father. Easwaran, who generally does not interfere in business matters, cautions that he should not enter into partnership with him as he is a politician, and Aditya may have problems.   Aditya flares into a rage and asks his father to shut up. He blames Usha for instigating this idea to the father.   Ganga comes to a posh restaurant where there was a party playing chess. Ganga offers to play the game for  the losing partner. She wins.  The business magnate who lost to her offers her  tocome and be with him. She flares up and decides to leave when he asks her to meet a VIP.  The VIP turns out to be Aditya.    

SELVI   Episode 314    
GJ is worried about the cellphone project. He blames Dilipan to be a crook, says he has cheated us all. Selvi's mother insists that he should go and talk with Tamarai. He says Selvi is the right person. Selvi says she will talk to Tamarai but  abour her relationship with her only.   Dilipan is having a heated discussion with Andavan and his crony.  He categorically says the running of  this business is his and Tamarai should not interfere. Andavan says Tamarai is no problem as all the documents regarding the cell business are with him. Selvi enters and says the busines is hers too as she is a partner and all the spadework was done by her. Andavan intervenes and Selvi promptly puts him in place and says she is discussing with Dilipan and he alone should speak to her.    GJ gets into his car and finds Maya in her car next to his car trying to draw him into a conversation. He drives away. Dilipan meets Niranjan and asks him to take Selvi out of his dealings with Andavan.  Niranjan warns what a crafty fellow Andavan is and asks him to be extre cautious. Dilpan says he will be careful. He requeats Niranjan to make use of the emotional angle,  Pasam, to win over Selvi to listen to him.

PENN
Muthukumar phones Chitra, and in a false voice, tries to wheedle information about where she goes. He then tries to follow her, but she notices him, and does not lead him to her mother's sanatorium. Bharani has managed to repay the lenders. They thank Solai for his tip, but he is furious, because he expected Bharani to come to him to borrow. In anger, he asks his sidekick (Naaye) to call Mohini. Vijay and Ranga are discussing how to trap the insider who is selling the labels. Ranga insists it cannot be Badri. Deepa has a suggestion, when Vijay says he could bring the oorgai lady to the factory and show him Badri. She says it would save a lot of embarrassment if we just took a photo of Badri to show her. Swati is challenged by Bharani for not giving him the money. She has, upon Vijay's advive, given it back to her mother. She crisply tells him and his wife to keep out of her love life, when they talk loosely about her tagging along with Vijay.

ANANDAM 7th april
Abhirami meets Shanthi as she is coming out of the school. She says she has succeeded in hounding her out of the chamber and the partnership with Madan. Shanthi asks her to look back. Abhiramsh isi standing all alone where as she (Shanthi) is in the the centre of the whole family. Gautam and Uma are driving home ahen Shyam calls and talks to them from the US. Shanthi comes to RK's house as he had asked her to come RK straight away comes to the point. He is glad she has accepted the job but it is their wish she should come back into the family and be with Kartik. It is Kartik's wish. Shanthi pauses a momment and asks permission to express her condition. From the moment she entered their house their problems started Abhirami did arti and welcomed her. Her intentions were not known then. She would like to come back into their family fold when they get back their original home and Rajeshwari ammal did arti and take her in as the daughter in law . Rajeshwari asks Narayanan to take her to the old house. He dissuades her. As they near the gate Abhiram's car is coming out Rajeshwari gets out and views the house with tears in her eyes. Abhirami addressing her as athai asks why is she looking at the house like that. She says they cannot think of getting it back neither they can buy one like that. Arjun hears of Shanthi's condition to come back to the family.

MALARGAL Episode 123

As Shanmugam is consoling Gounder the pujari comes home with the temple pooja prasadam. Gounder gets into a rage and throws the whole plate down every body rush to him Shanmugam asks pardon and sends the priest out. Shanmugam goes to Vidya and consoles her. He tells her things will turn out well after the grieving period. He calls his brothers in law tto come and have food. Gounder goes out and sees the astrologer but does not greet him or talk to him. Th astrologer cofronts him and him asks why he went against his advice. Gounder flares up how he had recommended the alliance and the whole thing is atragedy. Astrologer tells him he specifically told Bhasker to drop the proposal and stop the engagement why Gounder along with the astrologer comes home and drags Bhsker and beats him. People around stop him Bhasker iis accused of doing this to get favours in his job whwn the accusations were going out of hand Mallika intervenes and tells her father in law. She knew the truth and was asked to do some special puja and met with obstacles everytime. Vidya's life in a welltodo family was the consideration. She asks Gounder since when he became a believer in astrology? He flouted norms and brought her in as a daughter in law even though she was born in the star moolam Are there different norms for daughters and daughters in law, she asks.

KOLANGAL
Sharada brings food for Abhi As she started eating. The pandal man and another party come to ask for payment. Abhi takes out more money and settle the account, Bhasker standing there thanks her She says she did this for his father who gave her much love and affection. Later Alamelu is asked for a picture of Narayan the daughter brings the trunk containing photographs A picture of Ranjani was in it. Kala sitting by her side asks whose picture it is. Alamelu starts cursing Ranjani for cheating them and making them penniless. When asked for details she says, "She made Bhasker marry her died the day of weding pushing them into court and case leaving her money which had a clause Bhasker couldn't get a single paisa". She asks her daughter to throw the photo in the dust bin. The picture is found in the hands of Upendra the former husband of Ranjani who is in jail on some charge the jailor is a kind man he allows Upendra to Dance for the inmates He is to be released soon Holding on the the photo he declares he will go out and kill Bhasker as he is the killer of Ranjani . At Easwaran's house Usha narrates how Abhi Usha narrates how conducted Narayan's funeral well. Easwaran remembers Abhi's respect and love for her ex father in law. Kanchana comes and shouts at her husband to do some work towards her daughter Anu's wedding Anu standing by has a sad face.

SELVI Episode 311

Flaunting the documents he tells his father the strategy he employed. He showed his hatred for his father for disowning Puja. He told Tamarai that though married they both are not living as husband and wife. I want to love and protect her. He told her that his father is a very adamant man. He will not forgive him. He is upset with her too because she shunned him about the cell company. If he gets it he can be pacified Tamarai fell for the bait and handed him the document. Amar tells his father that the you the baby is his as it was he who raped Puja. Hearing this piece of good news Andavan hugs his son and proclaims his son has beaten him hollow. He calls for a drink party in celeberation. The younger brother of GJ was there when Tamarai gave the document. He comes to Selvi;s house, fondles the baby and gives GJ and Selvi all is well with Sachin and Aishwarya.
He tells them the cell company documents being given to Amar in gratitude to his commitment to Puja GJ is shell shocked He shouts what has happened to Tamarai. Selvi says we should contact Dilipan GJ doubts if Dilipan is a straightforward man Selvi advises a cautious approach.

PENN
Vijay and Kailash are led by the supplier to a lady, who says she gets the labels from someone within Kadambam -- Badri. When told, Ranganayaki refuses to believe the news.

ANANDAM  April 6th  
RK announces that he is appointing Shanthi as President of Global trust of his Shanthi should be conveyed this news very tactfully as she should not feel that pity is the reason for this offer. RK  has sent Arjun to convey this news. Everybody is happy and wish that Shanthi and Kartik should get back together. RK says kartik is inclined but  Shanthi?  Arjun conveys the offer and Shanthi is overwhelmed by this. The love and affection of the family fills her heart with gratitude. Arjun continues and wishes that she and Kartik should be united and be with the family. She says that she does not want to be obliged as this is done out of pity. Arjun is shocked. Govindan's son is admitted in a good school and Govindan's wife is grateful to Anita . Govindan calls from a Guduvancheri to his provision shop owner to talk to his wife . He is told his wife left for Chennai with the son in search of him Govindan is worried that that   his wife will be stranded in the big city. The shop keeper is promptly asked by a man standing near if the call is from Govindan When asked where he is calling from finds he is calling  from Guduvancheri. The man tells the shopkeeper that he is a policeman and if he calls again to inform the police The police control room is alerted and the search is on in Guduvancheri but he is not found.
                                      

MALARGAL                
Pandian asks his wife to get ready to leave  She objects saying they have to visit  three more shrines. Ashok coveys his fear about getting caught Pandian says if they stay away long it will create suspicion Kadir is released on bail  the police chief advises him to get anticipatory bail as  a search is on for Gounder's enemies about the death  of Mohan Sundaram  It is a known fact about the enmity between Kadir and Gownder Kadir gets anticipatory bail. The police party go to the marriage to search and enquire. Pandal manager praises. Mohansundaram and said he was a kind and good man. Searching they found the glass of a tumbler of coffee. It is sent to the lab for analysis. The address of the cook is taken from the manager on questioning he said the cook got too many calls from some one.  Police officer noted this fact.  Shanmukam comes to Gownder 's house finds Gounder who is weeping Seeing Shanmukam  he hugs and becomes uncontrollable He tells of the hopes he had of Vidya's life. He says he  finds people who he likes leave him pointing even Shanmukam had deserted him . The astrologer and his wife returning from their yatra give lift to mudaliar who gives them the tragic news in Gounder family. he is shocked that they proceeded with the marriage even when he had told Bhasker the prediction He again rethinks that Gounder doesn't believe in these things Fate has played its part.                                          

KOLANGAL          
Preparing for the funeral no ceremony is omitted A sizable amount is spent.    People present talk of the good nature of the deceased man and comment that the daughter in law who was hounded out of the family is doing so much This is what is called good fate Alamelu creates  a big show of her grief Abhi is one peron composed. Abhi thinks of Narayan a good man who loved her like a daughter. Bhasker comes back from the cremation ground.                     

SELVI  (Episode 310)                                              

Andavan cries that by coming into his family Puja had destroyed his family name. He is more angry with this useless son of his for accepting her and declaring he will be at her side and accept the child as his own He asks Amar to leave the house and come with him. Now it is Amar's turn to show in a melodramatic way how he will not. Ranjani consoles that she should be bold and bring up this baby and show the world she can do it. Andavan and Kathan are in Maya's house. Douglas Devarasan is trying to pacify Andavan, who is drunk, angry and carrying a loaded revolver.  Amar enters. Andavan takes out his revolver to shoot Amar .Daniel controls him Amar asks him to shoot but takes out a sheaf of papers and holds it out He proudly  declares these are important documents connected with the cell which he has brought from Tamarai. Everybody is stunned.

PENN
Kailash and Vijay corner the guy who is supplying counterfeit Kadambam Food Products stuff. He says he only supplies, and agrees to take them to the real producer. Mohini's mother in law confronts her about being married for four years without a baby. She pointedly asks her to seek clarifications from her son.

ANANDAM   (April 5)
Shanthi gives a letter to Madan. He is shocked  at the contents. Shanthi wants to end the partnership from the company, Madan asks her to take it back as this is our company and nobody can question. The word ours is the cause of the problem.   Shanthi says her decision is good and it answers all the queations .Kartik entreats her to alter her decision I am out of the partnership but not from the family relationships.  Govindan;s wife and son are roaming the streets of Chennai. Govindan's wife  spots the man who came to the village and terrorised and runs away from the spot She decides to admit  her son in an orphanage. The son cries that he is not an orphan. Just then Anita walks in as she is doing social work in that place She admits him there and takes the mother to work in her house, Arjun returs home in a sad mood and tells Anita of the happenings She is mad with anger at Abhirami She tells him about the new person she has brought home to work They decide to go and console Shanthi. Rohini gets a call from Abhirami asking her to thank herfor   driving Shanthi out of the partnership.  RK's house: Rajeshwari Kartik Madan and Rohini are present. Rajeshwari laments that Shanthi who has been instrumental in doing so much good to each and everyone in the family  is suffering we have to do something for her. RK sayswhen he was in a difficult situation she showed the way out and now he  has a plan to give Shanthi a differant post.  I will announce that and you all give me your views.                 

MALARGAL   (Episode 121)                    
Shanmugam questions why the ring was not presented.  He thinks Tulasi was angry with him for not attending the weddingand so refused to present the ring the father slowly breaks the sad news. He is shocked.  His mother who wanted to say some thin  was stopped.  He wants to leave for Tulasi's parents' house. The mother again starts her tirade that  Tulasi  has brought no luck to their family and he need not go. Shanmugam shouts  that she heaped curses on the family even before this tragedy.  He will listen to her no more.  He says the situation he is placed is miserable. The whole world says his mother is a devil and he is ashamed. He leaves.     Ramesh's uncle and aunt along with theirdaughter decide and take hold of Ramesh's familyand the business and usurp it. They tell a lie that Gounder cursed their family on the threshold of the house. To this end they stage a new  drama making Sharada asking them to stay on and take care of the family.   Karpagam's father an evil man rejoices at the turn of events in Gounder's family.                             

 
KOLANGAL           
The body is brought home and the grief of everybody for the good man is evident. Bhasker overcome with grief is crying and lamenting of his attrocious behavior toward his father  Abhi comes to him and tells him this is a time he should do what is to be done. He tells Abhi that he always   teased his father that he is a failure but he was wrong. He, Bhasker, is a failure He behaved badly towards everyone. The result is seen today. There is not one person in the crowd today who is his friend everyone is Abhi's   She cosoles him.                                       

SELVI  (Episode 310)
Tamarai finds GJ feedingcake to his children    She rushes and drags them from him admonishes them for  accepting from strangers. He rebukes her and catches hold of the children. He argues that they are his children too. Tamarai picks up a garden tool and threatens to stab herself if he doesnot release the children. Children cry to him to leave them.  He comes home in a very angry mood Selvi's child is crying with colic pain and she wants to take the child to the hospital. She asks GJ to come with her. He  tells her  in a disgusted way that he is not coming and she can take the baby. The mother intervenes and says this is also his child like sachin and Aishwarya ahd he should not talk like this Selvi pointedly  asks what is the reason for this foul mood. He narrates the school incident. Selvi in a determined way tells hm that she is the mother the father and everything in the world for this child of hers and rushes to the hospital.   Puja is in tears. She wants to abort the baby Tamarai scolds her.  Amar says she should she should forget the sad incident he is there for her. Andavan is wild she is going to abort their family heir. She tells everyone the gory incident and she doesnot even who it was.   Tamarai praises Amar accepting Puja knowing everything.

PENN
Nothing much -- just Karthik playing a trick to exort Rs. 50000 from his mother (for Bharani, presumably). Mohini cheats her in laws by getting another phone to pretend she is her mother -- in case they call the mother and ask something about her being at Kadambam Food Products.
