Selvi
Maya is wearing white. Her father asks why. She says GJ is dead, that's why. They tell her he has survived. She reveals she was the one who gave him poison. GJ appears late at night, threatening Maya. Her father sends him away after an exchange of words, threatening to reveal all his past dirty secrets. He leaves, promising death to Maya by his own hands.
Tamarai and GJ go to the temple. THey run into Niranjan and Ceylon Mani there, who are there to offer thanksgiving for their bank loan. Tamarai says something sharp to Niranjan, who answers back. Both Tamarai and GJ are upset that they have run into Niranjan. They go home and tell Tamarai's brother, who tells her Tamarai's dad has given the house to Selvi, who claims to have sacrificed so much. Tamarai is outraged. She promises to reverse it immediately. She invites Selvi's mother to her place. There, Tamarai and GJ tell her she needs to get out of the house - Tamarai's house. Amar plays good cop by pleading for her, and getting into her good books thereby. Finally GJ relents, saying she does not need to get out. But, he adds as she is about to leave, Selvi cannot live there.

Mohini tries to throw her weight about. Rebuffed by all the staff, junior and senior alike. Bharani brings Ranga's house papers, stolen from hsi mother, to Solai. Even before he mentions the papers, Solai clears his 17 lakh debt and gives him 6 lakhs in addition. Bharani is deeply grateful.
