ANANDAM  4th May
Govindan sees his son light the candle.  He wants to rush and hug his son. The old man stops him cautioning him the police may be around. Govidan goes to the orphanage and sees his son playing cricket. Two policemen in a two wheeler approach and show the picture of a lad missing to the authorities.  When they find  the wanted child is not amongst the children they leave. Shanthi finds Laxman watering the plants in the garden. She finds him cheerful. He tells her that of late he had not done yoga and meditation and now he wants to fulfill his duties before his end comes and the first thing is Uma's marriage Shanthi says she came to offer her help in that work. She says she and her family will take care of everything he asks her to be a sister to Uma even after he passes away.  Sreenivasan comes to Abhirami and narrates Laxman's health condition. He tells her the promoters are asking for the signed document.  She should get the signature before he gets suspicious. Abhirami goes to Laxman's  offering her help in getting the best doctor for him from abroad.  Laxman tells her RK  has done that. She puts before him Shyam-Uma marriage proposal and that his condition of Shyam being with his family is fine with her. Laxman is very happy that big hurdle is not there. Police have cordoned off a main road checking each vehicle. They catch a lorry with cartons of stamp papers.

MALARGAL
As Bhasker and Shanmukam are having their meals, Sivakami asks her son to go, console and bring his wife, Mallika. Bhasker refuses, saying she has not seen Meenakshi in hospital. She doesn't deserve to be consoled and brought home. The mother inadvertently asks Bhasker what the astrologer told him about Vidya's horoscope. Bhasker becomes agitated and Sunderesan pounces on his sister for lack of understanding to ask that question now. Shanmugam and Laxman go to Rameshs house to explain this version The mother uncle and aunt shower abuses on him.  They leave as Sharada is overcome with emotion. Ramesh comes home and finds out about the visitors and the mother's condition. He calls Vidya and warns her to stop her people coming to his house. He stands by his pronmise to take her home.    Kadir's uncle has a talk with him. He says their finances are low. He had been spending lavishly in the pursuit of ruining Gounder. Though they are in difficulty they are united as a family where as  he has to sell or mortgage a property to pay his dues kadir asks his uncle not to worry. Sivakami and Tulasi go to the astrologer to advice for mitigating the problems faced by the family.

KOLANGAL
Rajamani madam introduces Abhi to one Raghuraman. He tells Abhi her firm has been offered a prestigious project. Abhi in her modest way says that  she wants to complete the first project before embarking on a second one. Raghuram says then it will go to Aditya. Flash comes the various occasions when Aditya had denounced her of being incapable of handling any project. She agrees to take the project. Rajamani asks  Abhi to accompany her to Delhi for signing the contract.  Aditya and the minister are having a chat about
Anu Kishore wedding. And Aditya's plans of starting a business with Kishore as partner. Adi wants to perform the wedding in a grand style as their family had been denied  a lavish marriage in his case. A man from Abhi's office  who is an informer comes and breaks the news of Abhis latest success'. Aditya is in a terrible mood. Ganga comes to Thol's house and lashes at him to offer a marriage proposal to her.  Thols asks her to cool down and tells her that her mother asked him if he would marry her and he said  tell your daughter this.
It is your mother who suggested if you are not for it you could have called and told me. Why did you ever come here?    She leaves as she is leaving he calls out her name and she turns round.  He did that twice and asks her to leave.

SELVI
Selvi is feeding her baby. GJ comes in asking for a cup of coffee  The mother offers a cup of coffee to Selvi and advises GJ not to drink too much coffee. Selvi offers her cup of coffee telling him her mothers  action is known to him by now'. Tamarai comes straight to Selvi and GJ. She accuses her of betraying her trust, of eating out of her resources and throws the old contract on Gj's face. Selvi asks  Tamarai to leave Dilipan stands there without saying anything.  The mother intervenes and reminds her how Selvi saved her life and that of her children. She asks if the illness has affected her intelligence just then the child cries the mother brings the baby to Selvi. Tamarai curses Selvi that soon she will be in the streets with no one. Selvi warns her nobody can take away this child who is connected to her. With this child she will rise up and show the world who she is. It is Tamarai who is surrounded by wolves who will devour her. Beware warns Selvi.  GJ also asks Tamarai to think and mend her ways In the car. Tamarai is silent. Dilipan asks her if she is communicating with her inner conscience.   It is when we have this communication we tend to do the correct thing otherwise our actions become reactions without meaning. Dilipan says his principle is
to be good to everyone. Tamarai remembers she has to go to the school to pick up her chlidren. She drops Dilipan in the way and goes tothe  school. The children having waited decided to go to Selvi's house to see their father. When Tamarai hears where they have gone she is distraught with sadness.  Govindan enters as these people leave and tries to incite GJ by saying if Selvi and Dilipan have something between them GJ promptly jams the door on his face.

PENN
A big surprise for Ranga's father. A big ad appears in the newspaper as he intended, but instead of carrying Deepa's photo, it has his, offering 1 lakh rupees if someone were willing to take him away. Three people from an old-folks home actually show up. He chases them away, angrily, wondering how this mixup could have happened. Karthik thinks it is Ranganayaki. Actually, it is Kailash and his father who have executed the switch. Deepa laughs when Kailash tells her and Ranga about his role in this, but is sad thinking she is not wanted. Kailash expresses his feelings for her. She remains silent. Kasi has promised the food-stall lady's daughter (Ponmozhi?) that she will be Kailash's bride. As per his advice of yesterday, she has dressed up in a saree. When Kailash comes back he doesn't notice it. She rambles on about her love for him, only to find he has left midway. She is sad and stunned. At Senthil's home, he is upset with his parents for having let Mohini go, and says, she is such a good girl. Father disagrees. Something she has done. Something wrong with her. Then he privately tells his wife he saw Mohini and her father hardly upset, laughing, in fact, as they left. He had overheard her tell her father, why are you blaming them for something I did? So what was it that she did, he asks his wife, and tells himself that he'll find out.
