KOLANGAL
Anandi is angry and upset on seeing Bharati's parents, and even more so when she hears they have blurted out things about Karthik, etc. She rushes to her office and scolds Bharati for saying all this. He apologizes. In the meantime, there is a phone call from the Mother at the seminary where Karthik is being cared for. He has disappeared. Anandi and Bharati rush there, and charge the Mother with negligence, but she says that the place is not intended for mentally disturbed people, and she had only made an exception because the priest had requested. Bharati says to Anandi, calm down, let us go and check. They travel by auto, looking in all directions for Karthik.

At Abhi Constructions, Abhi has decided to accept the increased price suddenly brought up by the landowners. Bhaskar is in favor of this, but Tols is not. Thols goes to her office and says he would like to speak with her alone. Abhi is cool. Is this personal or business, she asks. When he says business, she says then Bhaskar, Aarti and Ganga can remain. When he starts speaking, Bhaskar interrupts. Abhi now asks him not to intrude, and sends him to his desk, out of the room. He slinks away like a schoolboy. But she refuses to listen to Tols, and says her decision is final. Later Aarti asks her why she is not listening to Tols, who usually turns out to be right in business matters. She too is sent out to her desk.

Outside, Ganga's brother in law is chatting with everyone without doing his work. Aarti scolds him. The others in the office also tell him to mind his own business.

SELVI
Inspector Nagendra calls on Selvi to probe her on what she has found out. She is not ready to tell. But she does give him an indication that she is not scared of him, and is fully prepared to meet him in court if he brings proceedings against  her for interfering with the police investigation. He is uncertain what to do.

Sivamani has been told by the doctor that the baby could be dangerous to her health, as she has a weak uterus. But when she comes home, she hides this from Selvi.

GJ goes to James and asks him if he was able to get Andavan to sign the blank stamp paper. He says no matter how much they try, they are unable. GJ asks them to try again.

PENN
Anjali continues:
Sunil has recovered from immediate danger, and is lying in hospital. Anjali is on duty, and she sends Jamuna back home to rest, because she can look after him. While she is on duty, Manohar and Ravindran decide to kill Sunil (totally absurd logic) to prevent him and Anjali from living a happy life. They slip into his room, give him a sedative, and then proceed to smother him. They succeed in killing him, but Ravindran leaves the syringe and medicine vial behind. Anjali comes, sees that Sunil is dead. She tries to cry out for help, but her voice does not rise. She notices the syringe and vial, picks them up with a cloth, and then  turns around to see Ravindran and Manohar. They have come back to get the evidence, and proceed to chase her. She hides under the staircase, and manages to tell jamuna everything that has happened.

Meanwhile, at Anjali's home, her father snatches the letter from Revathi, and immediately heads to the college, promising to bring Anjali back right away. His wife and daughter try to dissuade him, but he will not listen.
