KOLANGAL

Tols goes to see Rajamani madam at home.She is surprised tos ee him there, and asksif this is something personal. He says no, it is owrk related. Then he argues against the purchas of land at increased price for speculative purposes. She is reluctant to hear him out. Instead, she launches out into a personal attack on him, saying he is not really someone she needs to listen to, that he is jealous of Bhaskar and covetous of Abhi, etc. He finally gives up, and leaves.
Tiruvengadam gets a threatening phone call from Saravanan. He curses him and says if you try to stop me or threaten me, I'll really wipe you out. Satish helps Easwaran and Kishore's parents, who are stuck in Bangalore when their driver accidentally hits a pedastrian. Though Satish doesn't know who it is, he helps him, via his Kannadiga driver who can speak the language, and disperses the crowd. Easwaran is grateful and gives him the card of the guest house.

SELVI
Somehow, with the metal map which has no names or addresses, Selvi reaches a villa on the coast, and meets a lady and her son. The lady says she is James' wife. James appears. Selvi tells him she wants to kidnap someone, so she wants the rental taxi. James hurriedly sends his wife and son away, and confronts Selvi. She says she has his license. he says he will not reveal who hired him, etc. She says you can talk to the police, and walks away. James phones GJ to give him a report.
GJ goes to Amar's home, and finds Amar distraught. He says now, to give the police an impetus, they need to do something spectacular. He should murder Dileepan. Amar is stunned. Why not hire someone, he says. GJ says that's too dangerous. He needs to do it himself, if he really cares for his father. Amar agrees, and is shown dressed as an attendant.

PENN
Anjali is being taken to the police van when Jamuna appears. She cries to Jamuna that at least she should believe her. Jamuna says she does. Then, from the same van, Akash says to Jamuna, I'm innocent. She calls him a traitor. Anjali's father disowns her in front of everyone. Then he goes home and pours a bucket of cold water on his head. He tells his wife and second daughter Anjali has committed murder.
Manohar has an argument with his father, who says, why did you kill Sunil. Manohar says coolly, you need to arrange to foist the blame on Anjali. Father says that is too difficult. Manohar insists. His mother, overhearing all this, cannot stand it any more and gives Manohar a few slaps, saying he is a killer and now wants to blame an innocent girl. He starts beating her and threatens to kill her. His father tries to intervene and Manohar pushes him aside. At this point, Jamuna is announced. She talks to Manohar's father alolne. She says, ask your friend, Dr. Krishnamurthy, who's doing the Post Mortem, to say Sunil died of an overdose of sleeping pills, not the injection. He hems and haws. She says otherwise she will raise it in the press, and both of them know who really did it.
Next scene, Anjali is at the police station, where the judge has remanded her for three days of inquiry (read, torture). The police inspector says to her, the report says sleeping pills, but if you don't confess, I'll have another case foisted, saying it was your talk with Sunil that caused him to take the pills. He hints that he's going to have to take physical measures if she doesn't cooperate.
