ANANDAM 8th May
Kartik comes to Shanthi's place with sweets and ice cream. Shanthi asks Indu not to eat ice cream as she has two more days of exams. Indu asks Kartik to take her to Thatha's house as it is boring here. They decide to go for two days. Kartik relates this to his mother and she says it is great that Shanthi agreed to go along with him. She says she has one daughter in law taking away her home and the other who is striving to get it back for her. Sreenivasan comes to Abhirami and wants to proceed with the building project. She tells him how she caught Shyam in a helpful mood after her visit to Laxman. Sreenivasan says the house should be demolished before Shyam comes home. If necessary he would sign the document as he did earlier. The police chief calls the officers to expedite the investigation in the stamp paper case fast as pressure from the top is great. Inspector Mahesh (crony of Sreenivasan) comes to the Police station as the team was ready to go somewhere. He is asked to accompany. The car goes to his home area and asking for his address the chief directs to go to that address a police search reveals the stamp papers stored in the godown on the top floor. Police officer Mahesh is suspended and arrested. His wife is bewildered at the turn of events.

MALARGAL episode 142
Mudaliar comes to Gounder's house with the money required for Meenaksi's treatment. Sunderesan took the money and was handing it over to Revathy to keep in the locker. Kadir's uncle enters he enquires. Mudaliar's presence there. He demands the money. Kadir lent to Gounder immediately as Kadir is in difficulty. He says the money that mudaliar brought should be given to him. Mudaliar says clearly as Gounder is not home he should not harass others. The uncle swears if the money is not returned in two days there will be harsh methods used to the extent of a killing Sivakami hearing this on return from the astrologer is wild with anger. She wants to go and fight with Kadir and his uncle. Suderesan Tulasi and Vidya stop her doing anything rash in Gounder's absence. Vidya blames herself for all the problems.

KOLANGAL
Anu and Mano were in a two wheeler which is almost beside Aditya's car. Rekha seeing this prevents Aditya turning that side. Just then Adi observes a big hoarding of Abhi Construction which sets him off at his favourite game of abusing Abhi the upstart's rise. Rekha and her father assure him that their Delhi trip is to foil her plans. Arti comes to Anu and talks to her. She tells her that she and mano cannot marry because her brother's enemity to their family and moreover she has the right to talk in this vein because of the folly of her love marriage and the problems she is facing. Anu says point blank that their cases are poles apart. She points out that Arti married thinking he is a rich man whereas she wants to marry Mano because she loves him. She walks away from marrying a crorepathi and she knows all the facts. Bhasker comes to Thols at the site He is followed by Upendra Thols spots Upendra from the top floor comes in search of him. Upendra leaves knowing he has been spotted by Thols. Thols comes and meets Bhasker, who asks if Abhi had left money for him. Thols hands the money and enquires about his mother and sister. Thols suggests if he is interested there is a job with an auditor. Bhasker true to his nature snubs him saying he didn't come for advice. He says he is like an elephant which when sitting is taller than the horse standing. Upendra calls Ganga and tells her needs three lakhs to get a forged passport to leave for California as people are after him. Ganga says he should go to the police which he refuses. Ganga says she will try but it will take time.

SELVI episode 331
GJ says the initials in his children;s name cannot be erased as they are his children. At the divorce court Tamarai in a defiant mood wants her children to have nothing to do with him. The judge postpones the case to one month later Tamarai tells GJ however many times it gets adjourned she will ruin him. She comes home and collects all the family pictures and cuts off GJ's part of the picture all the time abusing him. GJ's brother and father who happened to be there feel sad. The father tells her in a polite way she has differences but there must be some patience as this sort of hatred is not becoming of a person like her. She says if he loves his son so much he may go to him the same rule for the brother. She wants none in her home who have feelings for that man. Govindan calls GJ to a place and there he is flirting with a girl. The promised financier is not in sight. When Gj asks why did he then call him. Just then Maya appears with two glasses of orange juice. She announces her proposed marriage to Dilpan. GJ wishes her well though she had given him much trouble earlier. Maya warns him to tell Selvi not to meet Dilipan anymore.

PENN
Ranga looks at the photo given to her by her father. She cries and cries, and is overcome by emotion, fainting. Deepa puts her to bed, and when she wakes up, asks her what this is all about? Ranga says this is the day her father parted her from her child. Ranga's daughter has invinted her doctor to come home on a spurious complaint, saying Ranga is seriously ill. When he shows up, she says she just wanted him to come to her college and hold a health camp, and also bring some young, handsome, doctors along. Ranga mentions Manohar. Deepa slowly melts away. Later Ranga and her daughter come to her to request she teach the daughter to sing for the college event. Kumar shows his wife a Rs. 40000 bill for his club. She refuses to pay, challenging him to get a thousand rupee job, if he can. He devises some scheme involving the vegetable seller lady.
