Big hoo-haa at Tiruvengadam's place. Many tears shed, much consolation back and forth as Abhi and mother visit, bearing gifts and support. Tiruvengadam himself, wise man, is away, preferring the local lodge to the hovel they have picked. Therein, he is busy getting drunk, talking big. Son goes to fetch him home, and he waves him away. Finally he hits upon a new plan, meet up with the eminent man whom his son met in Bangalore. Son says he knows how to find him.
The flat fiasco unravels. Three of the ten sellers fail to turn up at the sale registration. The others, on Bhaskar's recommendation, are paid off and their sale deeds registered. The cell phone, as usual, is never used when it could be of help. Instead of calling up the no-shows at the start, Abhi asks Bhaskar to 'put' a phone after all the other sales are through. The answer is some cock-and-bull tale about the seller having gone to Tiruchi. Abhi and contingent land up at the flats, to discover the three sellers right there. After a lot of hemming and hawing, the answer emerges. They say Abhi's partner Tolkappian threatened their lives if they sold. Abhi and everyone else is stunned. Bhaskar says let us go and confront the very man.
SELVI
Pooja discovers that the youngsters Pasupathi has beaten up are none other than Prabanjan and his friends. She drags him to Selvi's presence. Her majesty displays her usual haughtiness, dismissing Pasupathi as a hoodlum-for-hire. He says by doing what he did, he let them off with a mere visit to the hospital, where his chief Pandian would have dispatched them upward. One must be thankful for these mercies. Selvi goes to visit Prabanjan, where Click Click is also visiting. She and Selvi hit it off, after Prabanjan and she have explored the purity of their feelings for each other, unsullied by romance.
Niranjan and Ceylon Mani discover that she is all upset, hands shaking, etc. Niranjan says why not get GJ arrested. Ceylon Mani says Selvi is struggling with how to set things right without rocking everybody's lives.
PENN
Mainly to do with Solai and Mohini. Solai comes to Mohini's office, sits in Ranga's chair. Even visits Chitra and tells her that Mohini will soon be MD. By the time she has brought Badri, no Solai anywhere. Mohini denies anyone ever coming to her office. Chitra is without evidence. Badri warns them both not to entertain dreams of sitting in the MD chair.
Solai plays phone tricks on Mohini, who is now both irritated and worried. Her brother, who has been given a talking to by Swati, gives her a lecture. Finally she says, talk to me, not as a lawyer but as a brother. Whereupon he slaps her hard.

Malargal:
Swarna taps Thulz on her shoulder and gives Thulz the shock of her life. Thuls is then dragged by Swarna to her car, as Swarna has plans to send her to Singapore and not to Linga. There are a lot of people watching Thulz being dragged away but none come to her rescue. Just as she is to be forced into the car, she bites Swarna's hand and runs of.
Linga is chasing Shan. Shan and Moorthy are running away from Linga and trying to find thulz simultaneously.
Shan and moorthy arrive at Linga's but are told by his wife that Thulz was at the back of the car. they go in search of her, but are caught by Linga's men and fights them of.
Linga calls home and is told that Thulz is not there. He goes home only to be told by his goondas that they were beaten up by Shan and moorthy. He goes to his room where his wife and children are. he sends the children out and locks himself in the room with his wife. he strangles her and asks her where thulz is. She tells him and he calls his guys to check the car. They say she is not there. He pushes his wife against the wall and storms of.
Linga's guys go to the streets warning people to saty locked indoors as a murder might occur on the streets and they are not to open their mouths or doors. (Tamil movie!) They start chasing and Linga finally gets hold of hulz but she gives him the slip and hides in a temple. Lo and behold Shan and moorthy are ther praying too and they do not spot each other. Linga arrives calling for Shan and Moorthy and Thulz is relieved to know they are around somewhere.
Linga smartly points a gun to one of his guys and warns Thulz that he is holding Shan hostage and will shoot him if she does not appear. She falls for it and appears.
Anandam:
Shanti has stomach ache and the doctors are treating her.
Uma tells Sham that he would be unable to be MD of Abi Industries due to some constraints as stated by Abhi. Sham tells her not to fall for his sister's lies. A very disturbed Uma goes to her room to look at the letter he father gave her and is about to open it when she remembers her father's words to only open it at her deathbed. She puts it back. Rk, wife, madan and wife visits Shanti. Shanti's mama is grumbling about the medical system. Raji informs Rk that Shanti is upset about his yelling at her, when Shanti refuses at the offer to stay with them. Rk asks her if that was so. She tells him he has every right to yell at her and to even kill her. (Now this is romba too much! Like she will sit and wait obediently while he plunges his knife into her?) Mama informs she is eager to get to work and RK tells her to take complete rest.
AC Dorai arrives at the ayurvedic place where Jeevz is being treated. He sees his athai there and is pleased. They chat. She enquires about her brother and wife who are his parents. She wants to know if he is married. He is more interested in bringing the case to an end and is in no hurry to get married. She is proud of his achievements. he tells her to come with him. She says she gets peace her and will only leave when she dies. He is sad on hearing that...
