KOLANGAL
Rajesh writes a love letter to Aarti and tries to deliver it by hand as she is waiting at the bus stop. He pesters her to take it, and she shows her irritation. Meanwhile, a passing eve-teasing squad of female cops is in the area, and seeing this, stops to take measures against Rajesh. He runs, but they catch her and start caning him and getting ready to take him to the police station. Aarti comes rushing behind, and finally, tells them she is her husband. This is taken by Rajesh as a vindication of his love. Some folks will clutch at anything.
Anandi visits Tolkappian at the building site, and tells him that his friendship with Abhi is pristine, and should not be compromised at any cost. He listens.
Adi comes to visit his supplier, where Anu works as a secretary. The supplier rudely calls her on the phone and asks her to get some coffee. She does, and as she sees Adi and he sees her, both are shocked. Naturally, she drops the coffee cup on his lap, and the employer berates her. Adi walks away.
SELVI
GJ is brought to the police station (you would think there are only two cops in all of Madras, Nagendra and his side-kick Velu, they are at every crime). His 10 lakh withdrawal has raised questions. He has claimed someone stole it from him. Nagendra makes him sit and asks why, when the money was stolen three days back, did he not report the theft of such a huge amount. He mumbles something about domestic troubles. Nagendra says, how are Andavan and Karthan. GJ says they should be fine, and then blurts out, they are fine. The Chennai Clouseau cocks his eye, indicating, how do you know they are well. GJ recovers,saying they must be well, as I am praying for their safety daily. Then suddenly, Nagendra points to the side, saying, do you know this man? GJ looks up and sees James. A silent message passes between them. GJ is shaken, but manages at the last minute, to say it wasn't him, and then, suddenly, he points to the auto driver saying, it was someone that looked like him. Nagendra dismisses GJ, and tells assistant velu to let go of James later, but retains the auto driver.
Pasupathi storms into Amar's place. Amar is not there, but his uncle and Malar are. The uncle tries to protest his entry, but Pasupathi goes on a rampage, destroying the entire living room. Rombatoomuch (thanks, Ammu) arrives shortly after, and laments the destruction of all these things, and how safe they would have been if they had at least been gifted to her. Amar is there soon, and she tells him all about the incident. Amar immediately suspects Pooja is behind all this, and heads out to settle accounts with her. This is completely at odds with his mood in recent episodes. He was a despondent guy, a broken son. Suddenly, Amar is back, saying that Pasupathi is nothing but a hired hoodlum.
Pooja asks Paspuathi if he has destroyed Amar. He says he will not trouble you again, I have struck fear into his family. She says that's no use. I want him hit. He will come back for me. Pasupathi asks here to move in with him, so he can protect her. She says that's a decision only Selvi can make. She is everything to me, mother, father... He sas he will talk to Selvi.
PENN
Akash is putting line on some girl at a restaurant. He steps out to take a phone call, when Deepa passes by. He does not see her. Soon after, as he completes his call, he sees Kailash. He banters with him, and goes in to continue his flirting with the girl. Kailash has Deepa with him. Deepa says they need to track Akash. Kailash says, why Akash, the miscreants are Manohar and Ravindran. She insists that Akash is the brains behind everything. (The whole conversation is asinine.) He tries to head her off elsewhere, but she insists on going in. Finally, he seats her outside, and asks her to cover her head, saying she would look nice. She is pleased. Akash emerges. Deepa doesn't see him. Akash is keen to see this girl with Kailash, but Kailash fends him off with some excuse.
Nagarajan, Senthil's father, comes to Mohini's office, to persuade her that he is ok with her getting back together with his son. She treats him with her usual rudeness. Muthukumar comes in and insults him some more. This time Nagarajan bristles and answers back. Later Mohini tells her dad about her plan to get back together with Senthil. After protesting, she tells him the single life is difficult for her, too many admirers (!). He says in that case, at least move out to a 'tani kudutthanam' asap.
Akash is taking leave of his mother. Says he didn't mean what he said when he threatened never to return to India again. He says he will be done in a few months, and if he can find a job, she should plan on joining him and their settling in America. She starts crying. When he asks why she has behaved so oddly his entire trip, has someone told you something bad about me, she asks, are you a good person? He answers, after a quick silent gesture to himself (nicely done) that he has never done any harm to anyone, at least knowingly.

Anandham 30th:
A saree dealer is yelling at Raj and Uma for sending defective sarees as it has caused losses fro him. The dealer does not accept as he feels his prestige is more important than their compensation. Raj goes home real late and Ramya asks him what happened. Raj blames everything on Shyam and Abhi as he feels that as soon as Shyam left the company, he is finding it hard to handle it alone as Uma is only in charge of the admin. Ramya wants to talk to her sis while she advises Raj to talk to Shyam.
Raj storms of to Abhi's place and lets out some steam there with Shyam. He says he is helpless without Shyam as Shyam was the one who went abroad to learn this biz and he should be the one running it. Raj says that as Ramya's bro, Shyam is protective over her, as Uma's bro he should help Uma as Uma's money is in that silk biz. Abhi walks in and Raj tells her of and is about to leave, when Shyam calls him back and tells him he is coming to the office. Shyam then tells Abhi he would not be in their office for that day. Abhi is speechless.
Shanti is in a rush as she has an important meeting with RK. She rushes her daughter to put on her shoes and her Mama helps Indhu. Just then Shyam calls and tells her she is needed at the silk factory. She says she can only make it after the meeting ends. So she leaves and midway in the car, her stomach starts hurting again and she goes of to the doctor. RK is waiting impatiently for her and tries reaching her but her mobile is left at home.
Malargal 30th:
Cops enter with kavi;s family and sees Kadhir with a knife. They accuse Kadhir of kidnapping Kavi at knifepoint, at which Kavi denies and she says she came on her own accord. Her mum and sis try to cut her of and then the cop wants to bring Kadhir to the station for an inquiry. Kadhir says that the woman concerned has said that she was not kidnapped, so why should the cop still question him and he further agitates the cop by asking if he got paid? Mamz blurts out that if Nk had not informed them, they would never have found out. At this piece of info, Kadhir and his uncle get shocked. The cop and Mamz start insulting Kadhir by bringing out his weak point, the subject of him not having a father and Kadhir grabs the cop's shirt. Then he agress to go to the station and tells his uncle to inform their local cop. To which the uncle answers he is out of town.
Vidya tries to call Ramesh to no avail. Sundari and co start their nonsense accusing Vidhya of separataing mother and son and they say she is bad luck to the family. Vidz gets upset and goes to the room, but suddenly faints. Sundari tells her husband to call a doc. The doc arrives and says that Vidz could be pregnant but is weak and needs to eat well. She prescribes medication. Now Sundari and daughter are worried that Vidhya's child will be the heir to the wealth. So Sundari calls her doc and gets a prescription to a medication that will terminate the pregnancy in 6 hours (Lo and behold! The solution to over population). Sundari tells her husband to buy this together with the other medication.
Kadhir is placed behind bars and his uncle arrives with a lawyer. The lawyer states that as the girl is a major, her statement should be taken into consideration. The inspector wants kavi to say that the day after and he will release Kadhir. The lawyer is apologetic to Kadhir that he can't get him out on bail as the courts were closed that day. Uncle gets mad and tells the lawyer to try for another solution. Lawyer wants to call and AC that he knows and they leave.
Mamz comes to the station and the cop brings him aside and says that he fears Kadhir's side bringing this case to a higher level. He says that if the complaint is found to be fake, then Mamz would have to count bars and he would lose his job. Mamz assures him that Kavi will say what he wants her to say.
