ANANDAM 9th May
Police officer Mahesh is arrested and taken to the police station where he is questioned. He first says knows nothing but that he gave the space to store the boxes later he reveals everything . Sreenivasan gets worried on hearing of the arrest of his buddy he comes and tells Abhirami that Mahesh may blurt out something and he may be in trouble. Abhirami asks him a point blank question if he had a hand in this business. Sreenivasan is vexed that she asked this question. Abhirami assures him she is there by his side to help as he had done for her many times. Gautam hearing of Mahesh's arrest is wondering if father's name would come out now his mother is worried and asks him to go and meet his father. Arjun and Balaji discuss how to help Shanthi in her efforts. They think she deserves success in her efforts. Ghani is in search of Govindan and he comes to Arjun's house to discuss about finding Govindan. Govindan's wife who works as maid recognises Ghani as he had gone to her house in the village to help family. When asked to take coffee to Ghani and Arjun she is nervous and falters. Anita herself takes the coffee. Gheni loses the the opportunity f to find Govidan's wife who he had seen in the locality.

MALARGAL
Sivakami goes to Kadir's house and questions the uncle what is the enmity between their families that Kadir is relentlessly persecuting her family uncle says he wants the money for the deal returned as they have a financial crunch. He tells her to remember Kadir saved Gounder's life when he was lying on the streets after someone had attacked him /and how he rescued Shiva from the lockup and so on. Sivakami tells him how Gounder restrained his sons when they wanted to go and fight with Kadir. She wanted to know the secret in this strange enmity. The uncle takes her to the puja room and shows a photograph of a couple in the puja. He tells her Kadir is Gounder's son through his sister in the picture. He loved her and she was pregnant wih his child he promised to marry her later he married you (sivakami) and his sister became mad and later delivered Kadir and died. Kadir never had his mother's milk nor did he have the mother's love in his life. He has been cared for by me. Do you understand his sufferingnow. Kadir will not harm your family. His target is Gounder. Sivakami is stunned. She comes and sits in he temple going through all that she had just heard Murthy and Karpagam come home and enquire where the mother is. Shanmukam and Bhasker return home. Shanmukam had forbidden Bhasker to divulge the happenings ar Ramesh's place. Everything is working out well says Shanmukam to the queries of the family but Vidya knows the truth. Murthy finds his mother in the temple and brings her home.

KOLANGAL
Alamelu grabs the money Bhasker had brought. Bhasker tells her Thols's advice to take a job which made him angry. Alamelu says he ought to have beaten him up for that Bhasker said he didn't do so he helped in his father's funeral. Abhi presents the file prepared for the deal. She rings up Thols to say she is ready to sign the deal for the project and Aditya 's firm is on the list of parties in competition just then she spies Aditya entering . At the meeting Aditya presents his papers and argues and answers questions why he has priced low. Abhi presents her papers and argues her case that though her rates her higher she values quality so is not willing to compromise on that. The deal is given to Abhi constructions. She is very happy. Mano comes to Thols's house and asks to speak to Arti. He accuses her of going and talking to Anu against their marriage. Arti tries to reason outthat she speaks from experience. She had made a complete mess of her life and she wants to save him from a repeat of it in his life. He accuses her she married thinking he was a rich man and her love evaporated when she found him to be an auto driver. Their love is not like that. Abhi akka wil support him when she comes back. Thols intervenes and tells him his mother came requesting him to talk and advice him. He may go now and Abhi will come soon and all will be well.

SELVI
Maya's condition that Selvi should not meet her future husband, Dilipan, irritates GJ. He says he wants to take his life. Govindan tells him that is what Maya wants, don't play into her hands. He takes GJ a way. Amar insists that he will take Puja for a check up call. Malar calls wanting to speak to Tamarai. This makes him change his plan and pretends a board meeting. He leaves and goes straight to Malar's house. Malar after offering 108 coconuts to the diety is praying when Tamarai also comes to the temple. After greetings Malar seeks Tamari's help to get a job. She refuses to take money as money spoils relationships. Tamarai promises a job in one of her companies. Malar's in laws find Amar fondling their grand child. He is in tears and when asked for the reason says Puja his wife had relations with another man before his marriage and as such his marriage is not a very happy one. They pity him.

PENN
Poo-something (the canteen lady's daughter) gets one of the store customers (who is in love with her) to compose a letter to Kailash. This dream sequence wastes about 50% of the show today. Deepa runs into a kid at the temple, where she is waiting to teach Ranga's daughter (Sruti?) music. She gets it, the kid who's asking her to buy some murikku is the same one to whom Ranga gave 10000 rupees for computer education (via Muthukumar). He tells her all, about how Muthukumar kept all the money except 500 rupees. Meanwhile, Muthukumar is back with a new scam. The keerai lady is there with him in Ranga's office, where he tells the story of her husband's kidney transplant, the donor is available but no money. He wants one and a half lakhs. Ranga is about to give him the money, when Deepa enters for some other reason. When she sees Muthukumar and Ranga tells her this sad story, it is deja vu for her. She says she will herself talk to Badri and get cash, goes down and calls Ranga to hold off until tomorrow. Keep the medical report he has brought, though, she tells Ranga. Mohini returns from her parents' place, bearing sweets and fruits for her in laws. Senthil is thrilled, but his parents are cool to her. The father is quite direct, he says, please give me my passbook back. She hems and haws, and says it is locked up in her office locker. Why did you take my passbook there? asks the father in law. I forgot, is her answer. The father in law does not relent despite Senthil's irritation. Later he tells his wife, we need to find out what's going on with her.
